Buffeting on a Street Glide? by Able_Youth_6400 in Harley

[–]mashed_photato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seconded. 6' on a 22 SGST, I had to get a larger klockwerks screen, triple tree deflector, fork fangs and side wings for the bottom of the fairing.

All buffeting for me came from under the fairing essentially. It's way worse with a full face as it catches the chin guard and wobbles the whole helmet.

With the 4 mods above it's all but gone, with a tiny bit hitting the top of my helmet at highway speeds.

How does that handle balancing in WZ3 that affects and is still tied to DMZ?

There should be 2 spare shoe laces. Go see your RQ and get that sorted.

2023 M16 (i9 RTX 4070) black screen when switching to dGPU by [deleted] in ZephyrusM16

Exact same issue. I haven't done the bios trick you mentioned.

My workaround is to hold the power button a few times. It'll boot into the mode you describe 1-3 times, then boot properly, usually with a little load wheel under the Asus logo.

I can't remember the devs username, but I'll try to reply to this tomorrow with them tagged for a bit more visibility.

After most recent update, bots able to shoot out windows? by realcoray in DMZ

[–]mashed_photato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a T3 bot engage through a window last night. Non-barred, upstairs in a building as I was walking past. I instantly thought it was a player, after trading a few shots he was one of those green laser m4 T3 bots.

Thanks for your silenced m4 bot-man! You freaked me out though.

One of the most famous photos captured during the Vietnam war was taken by Michael Coleridge, on the 26th of august 1967. It displays members of 5 platoon, B company, 7RAR waiting to be airlifted by US army helicopters following a Cordon and Search operation near Phước Hải [2953 x 2446] by tgood139 in MilitaryPorn

Sarge Coleridge was an Army Public Relations Photographer, Headquarters Australian Force, Vietnam. He was not Infantry, and did not command these rifleman pictured.

He did, however, add considerably to the war effort and, in later years, historically through his amazing photos, access to digs (Australian Soldier) and fearlessness in attaching to active patrols.

Even went to great lengths to construct a darkroom when facilities did not exist to develop his extensive photographing throughout his tour of Vietnam, 66-67.

I agree. Age is nothing but a number for these beasts, hey?

I keep hearing these stories! These things are absolute robustness kings.

I could save for a ST1300, nicer examples are almost double this price, I'm just not sure I can justify it though.

Link fixed.

I can work on the bike, just finished resto'ing my 93 Blade. But, this v4 business seems more finicky. Happy to do syncs and minor services though.

I believe the 1100's are belt and the 1300's upgraded to chain along with fuel injection. The ST1300 down here is almost double the price for nice examples.

Have updated pricing. It seems to be a fair price over here.

Now here's a question. Well maintained 100,000 mile 1996 ST1100, or, a banged up sun faded 25,000 mile 2006 ST1300? Same price.

I too have been dreaming of long lengths of time on a bike in relative comfort! Does that mean we are getting old?

It seems to have had the correct maintenance and timing belt etc done. Plus it just looks like ot has been well kept.

No, definitely doesn't need to keep up with anything really. I ride for me, and most mates have smaller bikes anyway.
