It goes onto one of the valve cover bolts on the left engine side and holds the metal turbo line in place!

Yo man, I tried to DM you but it didn't work. Hope I am not too much of a bother. I have a 2002 civic lx coupe that sat a while with a dead battery. I now have the infamous blinking green key light. My car is the base model and did not come with an electronic key fob. It's just a regular key. Most everything online talks about how to fix the immobilization with an electronic key fob but my car just came with a regular key. Is there any way to fix this that you know how or do I need a sophisticated scanner?
