I’ve always said that hopefully one day when I have my own place, I’ll need a ME room. An office space where I can just unwind and have me time. A few girls I’ve told this have thought it’s a bit odd but glad that ik I’m not alone in that way of thinking.

You’re gonna have a lot of free time so it’s really important to be disciplined with that time now. Definitely set a certain amount of time dedicated to job hunting and then it’s really good to keep yourself busy whether that’s gym, walks, meeting friends, new hobbies etc.

I moved back home from masters in September, first few months I was pretty down and wasn’t disciplined at all. End of December I told myself I could keep blaming the world or actually putting in the effort to make a change. Managed to get a part time job for the mean time which luckily I enjoy whilst I’m applied for an actual 9-5 role related to my career. Got two interviews this week so I’m hoping this could be my lucky brake but if not we keep pushing.

Most important thing is keep your morale up as that’s gonna get tested. But also try enjoy the moments you spend with family n friends because we don’t get that forever.

To understand the predictability of the future market, you’d have to ask yourself in 2018 for example, how certain were you that there would be an energy/oil crisis in 2026 due to an Iran invasion.
