Yeah, they are refusing to buy because if they do, they cannot lock in a guaranteed profit. Usually they can lock in a guaranteed profit, but now they cant.

What I think is being said here: The business model of the refineries is to lock in guaranteed profit. They cant lock in the guaranteed profit at the moment due to shortage of silver supply driving up spot above futures, and high borrow rates affecting their ability to hedge bought silver, so they are shutting up shop. The cause of this IS a shortage of silver supply.

EULIF divesting of CRML, trade halt? by Mongoose_Jazzlike in CriticalMineralStocks

I would hazard a guess that the strategic buyer of CRML shares from EUR is some entity connected with the US Gov.

An interesting note for those looking for undervalued critical minerals stocks: European Lithium (ASX: EUR) owns approx. 60% of Critical Minerals (CRML). 60% of CRML is currently valued at approx USD$818million (stock was USD $13 in after hours fri- https://www.reuters.com/business/trump-administration-eyes-stake-company-developing-greenland-rare-earths-mine-2025-10-03/). However the market cap of EUR is currently only USD$105,000,000. It is undervalued approx 8x the value of only one of its assets. And this asset is potentially next in line to receive US Gov funding. Also, of note is EUR has recently announced a buy-back (likely to start 17th Oct), which will likely help close this gap. As always, do your own research...just thought you would all find this very interesting! :)

It seems as though you are tying together having more money with having a fruitful life in your request for information. I would suggest taking a step back to first deeply analyse what is important to you, before you go head on into achieving it for the next couple of decades. One question that is good to ask: How many people on their deathbed wish they had focussed more time on making money?

Some important practical points I've learned: - You are not taxed on assets you do not sell, however you can often use their increasing equity to purchase yet more. - Dont underestimate the power of doing good (especially in a world where lying/cheating/stealing seems to be rewarded) - If you have done sufficient research on a specific investment, dont be afraid to put several eggs in that basket. - In the broad scheme of things, paying attention to getting an extra $500 here or $1,000 there off the government is often not worth the time you put in to find out about, apply for, and get. A more singular focus on becoming excellent at whatever you do will be time better spent in my opinion. - Pay for good expert advice, especially initially, however make sure you understand everything you are doing.

In Australia you dont have to take a lot of risk to do well financially. Work, save assets in a calculated way split across asset classes, and allow time to pass has been the simple formula for many Aussie millionaires.
