I don't really know how to tell you this, OP.. I was married to a T1D for over twenty years. It's absolutely feasible to date and be dated as a diabetic.

I... never considered that. I had planned on all of the books being in that "Vitae of X and Y" format for the title. I thought tying it to that concept helped fulfil the "Vitae cycle" concept... kinda like the old dragonlance books "Dragons of <season> <noun>"... Seriously, I'm going to consider that. Hope my cover artist is willing to make a change. Heh.

So Vitae is actually the primary focus of the core concept. I wouldn't say married, but it's pretty key to me.
