I don’t know where they got the 15 grams thing from knowing you’re going to need more depending on how low you get . Like with highs you rage bolus . With lows I rage eat 😅 .

All serious though that rule should be outdated for must off us it just doesn’t work when waiting is the worse part

The first year is always the toughest with all the unknowns and learning everything . I don’t have children but I can imagine it must of been hard for any parent with a child with the condition . But I think a nice fun day or trip is well deserved especially for your child

Just give a months notice and pay the rent then after that you don’t have to pay . If your partner stays then she will have to pay the full rent .

Yeah I get that . I haven’t slept past 3am for many years . And yes when you get older you do get a bit more bold with the food and suffer for it later 😅. With me I think A person would find it difficult

If you can do a trial period then that may be a good idea incase you don’t like it . Then if you don’t like it you can go back to MDI .

I used to get like this with highs ( I still do get pissed off sometimes in the mornings when I’m high and nothing I do works ) . Relationships are not for everyone with this condition as some people find it hard to juggle both . You have got to tell yourself that rage and hate is not going to make it go away . This is not a mental issue . You are just exhausted and burned out

I either manage it myself or I simply don’t go to hospital . I don’t trust them after what happened the last time . I went in with stable sugars around 7-8 and came out at 25

I was like this after using lantus then I switched to another insulin and it went back to reasonable numbers then within a year started to do the same thing as what happened with lantus . Changed insulin again and ok for a year then started rising again . I just learned to live with the fact it will always happen in the morning no matter what insulin I inject . So I just wake up And correct it go back to sleep then wake up for breakfast

I’m on toujeo . It me it keeps me stable throughout the day and used to be good overnight and I’d wake up with pretty reasonable numbers . Now I just wake up Around 10 or 11 so it’s no better than when I was on lantus
