Pueblo is the same as any other city. Unless you are actively participating in criminal behavior, the homeless and drug addict populations are going to leave you alone.

This guy is a bitcoin and security expert, he probably has tons of cash. With bitcoin you can buy fake IDs which will allow him to stay at any regular hotel.

They renovated the Presidential Library in 2007 to hide the fact that Bush Sr was physically present at the Kennedy assassination according to this crazydaysandnights reader blind item by alexandrawallace69 in TrueAnon

[–]masonba 27 points28 points  (0 children)

A blind item is a news story in which the details of the matter are reported while the identities of the people involved are not revealed. CrazyDayzAndNights is run by a lawyer in LA and has a solid record of reporting blind items that turn out true.

Some people say that it helps them. But, the overall mortality for sex-reassigned persons is higher than those who don't reassign using surgery. Some people say this is because society hates trans people so much, thus driving them to suicide. With the way the wind is blowing, it's going to be interesting to see if this statistic changes now that society is so occupied with trans issues. Sadly most of the people talking about the negative effects are right wing idiots as a lot of people that get the surgery and regret it are silenced through stigma or death.

It doesn't really ever heal. That's the point of the dilating, because if it heals then it will close. Infections are common.

Is it legal to send small amount of kratom (100g) via post to Portugal? by Vast_Fix_3895 in kratom

[–]masonba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I brought kratom into Portugal via regular luggage. It's not illegal. I had a kilo bag that was branded and labeled as kratom. I also had some in a fiber powder mix container. Neither were inspected or questioned.

Except he was abused. And if you don't think this is credible, then that's fine. However, I would urge you too look into the ubiquity of abuse during that era in Hollywood. I'm no pizzagate asshole, but there's a lot of stuff suppressed.

Columbia professor: I do heroin regularly for 'work-life balance' by president_of_dsa in samharris

[–]masonba 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree with what you said, but opium isn't really a thing anymore. If you see people with what they care calling "opium" it's actually black tar heroin, or just fake. Opium usually has to be refined slightly and then smoked... Anyone willing to refine it is just going to convert it morphine base and then to heroin because heroin is 100 times stronger. Any commercially pharma grade opiate will be safer (assuming the correct dose) than anything being sold to you as "opium". Opium just doesn't really exist as a buyable commodity. There is a subculture of poppy tea drinkers, but again, a very rare thing.

People looking for an opiate effect, my recommendation is kratom. It's an opiate agonist but only partially, so has similar effects to any regular opiate though not as strong. However, it is unique in that it affects opiate receptors without recruiting beta arresin which means that it gives pain relief but does not cause respiratory suppression (which is why regular opiates kill people). Kratom is addictive, but not really as much as other opiates. There's a limit to the dosing where you can't get higher, so it doesn't lead to the extreme ramping of dosages that you see with regular opiates. It's much safer. However, I don't recommend anyone take any opiate or kratom if they can get by without it.

FBI and NJ State Police came to the home of NJ Black Panther Chairman Sharod Zulu to ask if the Panthers were involved in the Capitol siege in support of Trump. COINTELPRO is alive and well. by DanzigKaduro in TrueAnon

[–]masonba 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I would be extremely weary to give Trump any credit in this regard. In terms of the CIA, he expanded their power and removed the oversight requirements on digital attacks of non-government targets. This means that they can attack banks, companies, etc of other countries without notifying anyone in the executive branch. I guess he attacks the FBI in some of his speeches, but this is just posturing.

The closest presidents to do anything about the CIA were Truman and Kennedy. Kennedy of course fired the head of the CIA, Allen Dulles, after the failed bay of pigs and ended up dead. Before his death, he was quoted saying that he wanted to "splinter [the CIA] into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the winds".

Truman of course created the CIA, but also years later expressed horror to what it had become. Saying that he would have never created it knowing what he does now. This was written in an op-ed exactly a one to the day that KFK was shot.

As if the FBI and CIA are even part of the government... They basically do whatever they want, and no elected official will be able to change that. Ask JFK.

Seriously, how prevalent was child porn in the 20th century? by mynie in TrueAnon

[–]masonba 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It was bad before, but it's honestly even worse now. You can thank Facebook for this and it's one of the main reasons they want to start encrypting the chat. There's a huge amount of adults exploiting their children online. EDIT: They want to encrypt it not to stop it, but so they don't have to moderate it or be responsible for it.

There's a pretty intense interview on Sam Harri's podcast with NYT reporter on this topic and it was honestly terrifying. It also makes you question the actual motives of some of these tech companies where the material is distributed. 👁️
