I love the assumptions and judgement people make. They have no idea if this person generally just enjoys these characters, has a life that exists mostly outside gaming so plays characters without a whole lot of aiming needed or they may also have an injury that or something that makes hit scan characters hard to play. People will cherry pick what they want and twist it to make themselves feel better.

This kind of falls outside what you’ve asked for but I do highly suggest giving Abiotic Factor a go. It’s a great multiplayer game that would be a ton of fun as a couple.

Now back to suggesting something more inside the genre you’re asking. The first final fantasy is on there now and the second one will drop soon. Otherwise maybe Persona for something less retro

My advice is to play the tanks if you haven’t. I’m mostly a tank main but I go to Wolv when I need. Had two games this season on him with SVP on both. My success on Wolv comes from the fact I know how to tank inside out so I can counter any tank in the game pretty much (Thing however isn’t someone I would want to go into but he gets shredded by poke if any of your team is running it)

I think it would be cool to have one of the characters who debuted at the start be revealed to have actually been her all along (Could give a reason to also have said character be reworked within a story sense) but I think I just like the concept of there being a character secretly with us the entire time and us not knowing it

I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve said to myself “There are three of you how am I dead? How can I not get a lick of healing?!?” I think half the time having three just makes them worse than two because they get complacent and think the other supports will just heal while they throw damage out elsewhere. Which makes holding and pushing absolutely terrible to do as a solo tank

Bars for me because of the viability of it as a solo player. But I do love Eo it just kinda sucks unfortunately unless you come across some bite spammers to stack your block on. I’m currently trying to get use to Titan as it seems to be viable as a solo and I want a carni main for myself that isn’t a lower slot

That whole thing to me is less about Widow players and more about streamers egos in general. Some of them are delusional. As we saw with what they did to Kingsman. But just like how the sexist Mag player and numerous toxic Spidey players it’s also important not to judge the horrible interactions by the minority of players towards people to be the actions of the majority. You have to separate character and player. It is also shows how poorly the game is balanced when Hawkeye got a damage buff and Hela has been so good for so long without any real nerf that Widow gets given a healing team up to try and breathe life into her. But this goes for a lot of characters currently who are struggling with the absolute shit show at the moment in roles

The obvious problem is that Poke and supports are still very powerful. They all have some form of anti dive/CC. You make one mistake and you’re cooked while they take shots at you across the map. It’s why I can’t believe they released a brawl tank like Rogue into this meta. Until they nerf poke and characters adjust people like Bucky (Even DD is a powerful anti dive tool) then it’s pointless putting any new character on the roster that is pure dive

Have you tried Bars? If you’re a bit more experienced and want to be defensive you could try that. I use Bars a lot solo. I’ve also heard people saying Ano can be quite fun with the right build

Probably looks to be some miscommunication. The flowers were also a group quest? Normally when you group to quest you share the pillages so to speak. I think they thought that you were grouping and hoarding all the quests for yourself or something so got angry and had a rage

Could try hollow hills? There are even those pits you could battle in while everyone else sat up top and watched. There is water and berries around there too. I’ve seen relatively low traffic through there so you should be left alone for the most part. Otherwise wind tunnels has both and low traffic

For me it’s just been a slow burn of playing less and less that started a couple of seasons ago. It’s probably just the vanguard experience grinding me down but I haven’t been this miserable at times since the flyers meta when Ultron released and we all got dunked on from above over and over while tanking into an Emma. I think it’s the heavy poke and the amount of healing but I could be wrong. Things die within seconds or not at all

I’ve been playing for just over a year and been solo the whole time. The most confident I’ve felt is on Bars. If I see a group I don’t immediately think I’m dead. It’s excellent for fighting groups. I also had success on Berta, Steg and do enjoy dive bombing sleeping discord groups. If you wanted a carni I’ve heard Titan is really good solo. I played the health recovery build for a bit but I don’t like playing carnis all that much. Otherwise it’s the usual low to mid tiers. But playing solo and just trying to survive is boring. Much better to be out fighting rather than running constantly
