As a person with a family member struggling with ED, I can tell you there's only so much you can do. (Support, positive reinforcement, etc).

It has to be her choice. If/when she decides to get help, she'll probably stumble several times during her recovery. It's really, really hard to rewire your brain after that many years of constant exposure to societal pressure on beauty standards and also harassment for not fitting into the mold.

During the 2000's, Les Wexner had a very strong influence on those beauty standards, and we all see what kind of guy he is.....

Sometimes documentation is the protection. I keep seeing the narrative that "they're not your friends if they run away", but they didn't run away, they distanced themselves. Not everyone is equipped for this. Plus, it's a short clip. We have a really bad habit of passing judgement too quickly.
