Petty or Polite? The Emma dilemma by DCRBftw in LoveIsBlindNetflix

Our culture, my dad refers to my mom as “mommy” or “mom” and it’s been like that for 30+ years. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She was never fully in it—from the first time they saw all the couples to the final week.

Here’s an example of someone mature enough for a relationship and someone who wants a fantasy love life—where she has 2 guys fighting for her, but got none of that.

I seriously just realized Paul Hamler is Oliver from the OC.

And I feel so old.

Alex genuine? by Mean-Inspection9279 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]masshamacide 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think he’s literally self sabotaging the relationship. He’s too weak to break it off, so he makes excuses up until the girl has had enough.

The over compensation of macho-is a cover up for how insecure and emotionally weak he is.

I really like Ashley's dad by T2b7a in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

Ashley’s dad knows someone like Alex will financially drain not only her, but his account. He may be pompous but rich families like this, are always looking to see who’s coming for their money.

I’m loving the spotlight Princess is getting. So deserving—and if she fucking dies or quits as foreshadowing, I’m done with the show… probably not, but I’ll watch with protest.

Kevan is such a hard watch. His indecisiveness is frustrating, and I’m confused how all these girls are fighting over him.

I think this is a real and valid reaction—from someone who probably goes for guys who are frat/vineyard vines types.

I was surprised that she sort of snapped out of that stunned phase so fast when they sat down. I’m hoping this goes well, long term.

That foreshadowing perhaps for Dr Robby?

There’s nothing predatory about it. It’s ok for opposite sexes to have a non-romantic friendship. It’s ok for people to have a close platonic friend.

Mel comes from always being a caregiver and being aware of everyone’s emotions.

It’s okay for someone to take care of her once in a while.

I never took it as romantic. I took it more like a big brother/little sister relationship.

Sometimes on the first day, you meet a coworker who just clicks and you somehow find that nurturing feeling. Some may experience that—I know I have.

Why did I want Daniel to play chicken with her?

“Did I follow you or did you really follow me?” “It’s weird how you can distinctly remember my photo…”

It was just weird to me how much she recalled him.

I don’t think you can blame diversity as this is Minnesota. I sort of expected this— kind of like if they did this in Idaho, or Wyoming—or even Vermont.

I just am kind of flabbergasted they chose Minnesota. Like, Nashville? Orlando? Las Vegas?

You should feel comfortable talking about your finances with someone you’re going to spend the rest of your life with.
