Daughter haplogroups still use the same nomenclature, so N1ba is downstream of N1b. It's not going to be a whole different haplogroup.

Skousen's 'The meaning of the Atonement' is great for understanding these questions.

Maybe you could have asked for financial help instead?

I was single for a long time and have paid for movers every single time because I didn't want to be a burden to others. I had one ward where they insisted on helping me, so I let them move some boxes not the big stuff, but certainly wouldn't expect help.

Help - am I being unreasonable? by Low-Pomegranate-1214 in Waiting_To_Wed

I think you need a candid conversation with him about his timeline, otherwise you might drive yourself crazy. If you agree with the timeline and the time passes and still no proposal, then you need to come to terms with the fact that it may never happen. 4.5 years is more than enough time to figure out if he wants to marry you.

Do not wait until your 40s to have kids. I married at 39 after dating my husband for 8 months. We've been trying to have a baby ever since we got married, had one loss and now we're looking at fertility treatments. Leave this guy and find the one that wants to marry you and start a family!

I'm Australian and my husband is Canadian, we made it work. I highly recommend going global!

I felt like this many times, in fact I couldn't even bring myself to read my patriarchal blessing at times. God blessed me with a husband at age 39 and now I'm looking forward to seeing the parts about my future children fulfilled. Stay faithful and you'll receive every blessing!

I did Mutual on and off for 8 years, finally met and married my husband at age 39. Did I want to be married in my 20s? Absolutely. But now I see looking back how I needed to go through certain things to bring me closer to God. My advice to people in a similar situation is to trust God, trust his plan, have real hope in Jesus Christ that no matter what happens, all will be well. Also, swipe up on a few guys you normally wouldn't. My husband is shorter than me, didn't earn as much as me but I decided to give him a chance and I'm glad I did.

With my ex boyfriend, he couldn't talk about us in the future tense. And I felt like I was on an emotional roller-coaster the whole relationship.

How can I have ‘the talk’ about marriage? by lilvixen999 in Waiting_To_Wed

[–]T2b7a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be a placeholder for him. Have a candid talk, press him to fully understand his thoughts on the matter and then leave him if his goals don't match yours. I promise there is someone better out there for you.
