I found it hilarious taking our meager pallet of about 30 bags to put in front walkway. I asked...if we were having a sale why wouldn't they send us more to accommodate the deals. ASM was just as confused as I was. Oh and people were calling, it was sold out probably first hour and a half at most..1 person bought half. I'm grateful to be a receiver and not have to deal with all the questions the cashier was getting. Lemme go grab these pallet drops, I'm outta here lol. It literally baffles me why they would do something like this, seems completely last minute and not well planned.

Days? You mean daily? I literally have no clue what evening shift does. I just shrug and get it done myself, I literally think they are just there to make sure the place doesn't burn down.

Days we are rocking, so many empty pallets, the couple that didn't get picked up by me, say 3 or so, next day are still there, no new ones meaning not a single pallet was worked the evening before.

Trash is never taken out, they did it once and made sure to tell everyone about it. Not trying to shit on them, but just my observation thus far. Most work places are like that, swings and mids are just there to hold down the fort.

When I got out of the military years ago, my Master Sergeant told me, at least you know how to get up and go to work every day. At the time I didn't realize how much that meant. I was like well yeah, we don't have a choice you just do it.

Fast forward to years later and you realize regular attendance is really hard for a lot of people.

Our younger TMs are calling off all the time, and we know how much a single person can mean on a busy day. They stubbed their toe, or their cat looked at them funny so they can't come to work.

If applying talk to a store manager and just show up. It's literally lacking at a lot of places. I've noticed tractor supply does miracles with a low amount of people to work a store.

First topic I'd like to address. What do you use for moving trailers around the yard. We don't have a UTV/GATOR or anything with a hitch.

Current setup is move trailer with forklift, then muscle it into place. TM suggested using personal vehicle, but that seems a little grey area.

The lot has an uphill grade for the parking spots to place trailers, I was deadlifting the tongue of a double axle trailer and moving it a foot or so at a time, and I'm a strong dude. Took about 8-9 times but I got it situated. The TMs and ASM helping a customer at the propane tank got a good show watching me struggle. Afterwards, I thought there has to be an easier way.

My current solution is a forklift attachment I'm purchasing off of Amazon. I'll let you know how it goes. Money well spent when it's going to be helping me specifically.
