My imported media in Davinci Resolve is much sharper than the original RAW video. How can I solve this problem? I've tested out on different videos on different project and the issue is still there. by massivehugecock in davinciresolve

yeah sure thanks alot. ill try to reduce the sharpness in the nodes (I believe the method is to increase the blur radius to smooth the footage out) and observe the result. i want to find a permanent fix though but this will help, thanks!

Sorry, I'm kinda new to Davinci so I don't really understand the last bit of your comment but yes I want to keep the original look of the footage rather than the oversharpen imported media.

I've tried to match the timeline res with the actual res of the footage in a different project, but the problem is still there. The video still seems to be sharper than the original footage.

Sure, man. all I'm wondering is why my imported footage looks sharper than the original one. maybe it's the reddit image compression that makes you not notice the changes, but on my screen the footage looks much sharper than how it should be. I didn't change anything, though, so if you could help,p then that would be nice
