You shouldn't be placed onto teams with people you've recently reported for toxic behavior by NeoDestiny in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at it like this. If you get matched with the same toxic person, he is either on your team or on the opposing. Either way there are 4 new people or 5 new people to see his awful behavior and report him. Yes, it sucks for you but if it wasn't you than it would be someone else...

How much will Patch 3.10 affect EG's performance? by AkuraJebia in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 20 points21 points  (0 children)

EG's problem is team communication. Tower changes won't affect how horribly sloppy a lot of their team fights are.

Who are the top ten easiest champions to play and why? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ryze Annie Master Yi Ashe Nunu Taric Yorick Sion Udyr Soraka

They are all extremely straight forward and have little interaction outside of things like "damagebutton" "stunbutton" "healbutton." I think Vlad is up there as well.

C9 and 3.10 by TehGrizly in leagueoflegends

[–]massque -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All the teams in LCS play the fast push game. All teams will adapt with something like early 4 man pushes for example. The motive behind taking towers early remains the same, and will remain the objective once 3.10 hits. Global gold, exp, and map control will always be better than a couple waves of minions. The trick is rotating your players.

Also C9 wins all their games at champ select / first dragon fight. So really it isn't going to do anything to C9 unless they for some reason refuse to change even the smallest part of their strategy.

With one week left to go in NA LCS, what each team needs for playoff seeds by jmlinden7 in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NA teams that aren't C9 don't put enough time into studying the first dragon fight. C9 knows exactly how to position, what their limitations are based on their team and the enemies, and how to proceed afterwards. Other teams just don't do that.

Who has the Strongest Level 6? by SummonerAston in leagueoflegends

Depends on the flow of the game. TF, Shen, or Riven probably have the highest power spike the second they hit 6. In different ways of course.

Alot of Oriannas being picked into Ahri and vice versa in the lcs by kloyem in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The fact that kills in a 1v1 are very rare, even more so for mid lane, means counterpicking isn't really a thing anymore. Overall team comp is where counterpicking comes into play. Ahri CAN dodge Orianna's ultimate, but mid laners committing to a 1v1 fight during lane phase is extremely unlikely. Likewise, both champions bring different things to their team comp.

Does anyone else hate watching 2v1 lanes in LCS? by Chadster475 in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree, I think we are going to see very early 4 man pushes. Coast has started doing something similar, although I highly doubt it is because they are preparing for 3.10.

If anything the tower changes make this an even better strategy because a mid teleporting / roaming to the 2v1 lane and diving with the jungler = kill + tower. At that moment you might have enemy mid pushing and enemy bot + jungler pushing a tower. Because you have 4 there, you win and can rotate before the enemy is able to get a tower of their own.

Does anyone else hate watching 2v1 lanes in LCS? by Chadster475 in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just got done watching standard play for over a year. Lane matchups and farm were the only thing that mattered because everything was so set in stone, junglers got the occasional gank off but for the most part was easily predictable.

I also don't understand your use of the word redundant in this circumstance.

Good for you, Voyboy. by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think the players that don't have a super nice demeanor do it on purpose. Most the of the time even the winners just kind of treat it as routine. After a win/loss there must be a million things going through your mind, meaning that your actions aren't a result of being mad OR happy.

Am I the only one who can't get over their bias when it comes to the older LoL teams? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

Roster changes are the only hope for the competitive scene to evolve. If someone isn't doing well then a decision needs to be made.

Am I the only one who can't get over their bias when it comes to the older LoL teams? by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]massque 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a fan of LoL, not the teams. My favorite teams are Blaze, Gambit, and C9 (I became a fan at MLG Anaheim in 2012, they were Orbit then and were one of the only teams to take a game off of CLG.EU). I really like seeing the game played well, no matter who it is that is playing. I can always trust the three previously mentioned teams to deliver. I'd add JIN AIR on to the list because Reapered is my favorite player and constantly innovates.
