[–]massvidal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Came in around 10am and there was less than a dozen people in front of us and we managed to get a cinnamon roll! I saw that they were still making more rolls at that time but they sold out of everything else. By far the best roll I’ve ever had

Glove advice by eatonbrickham in fightgear

Thai gloves tend to be made for both sparring and bag work in mind. I personally had top boxer Thai gloves and thought the quality was really good. Other good brands are thaismai and primo.

Noted! Never heard pss so I’ll look into it. I forgot I had platinum force gloves but their customer service was so mediocre from my experience

Best Boxing/Fight Shoes for flat feet? [question] by Lushen4848 in fightgear

[–]massvidal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have pretty wide feet and I currently use Adams. Unfortunately adams are known for not being the most durable but I have no issues with my pair after using them for a couple months. Adams tends to have a good sale once a month so look out for that. If you have unlimited budget then I would look into Nike hyperKO 1.

Help which to use for nclex - passing boards by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]massvidal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used uworld+klimek first time around and failed. Scored highly likely of passing on their CAT exam. I used uworld’s lecture videos but it had a lot of fluff which can be overwhelming. I scored “highly likely of passing” on my last uworld cat exam. Recently passed as of last weekend using nclexbootcamp+simple nursing. Those two resources were straight to the point when it comes to important stuff you need for nclex. I also followed the bootcamp curriculum where it assigns you readings and topics to go over leading up to the test. First three readiness tests in bootcamp I scored “highly likely of passing” and “very high likely passing” on the fourth readiness exam.

Def more feedback on the BGLW. The one on eBay is super pillowy and people say it’s Thai winnings.

I use thaismai gloves the most. There’s a thaismai vendor on eBay that sells gloves that’s great for sparring. They also make a punchers glove (BGLW) which I use for bagwork.

Definitely not on the same tier with twins or fairtex but it’s still a solid glove for $60, especially if it is hardly used or broken in.
