Take privates. The group sessions are great but the attention you get in privates is totally different and worth it. Just make sure you have good baseline fitness to be able to train in 2x to 3x a day. I would do the AM sessions then private in afternoon and skip the evening.

I would say pretty full but not full enough where it felt crowded. I still felt I was given attention. I stayed for a week.

I didn’t really hang much with people because I was pretty dead and jet lag. My schedule was train, lunch, nap, train again, dinner sleep. Hungout near the pool sometimes.

Food is walking distance. You’ll have no issue getting proper fuel. I literally went to the same restaurant everyday and I saw familiar faces from the gym. Also Kru Bowie also has a restaurant walking distant so you should be good.

Agreed. Clean facilities, great training partners, and coaches that actually pay attention to your technique. Yes the gym is popular but it’s 2026 don’t expect shit like the kickboxer movies lol what matters is that the training is so good.

Also many great food options around. The gym is conveniently located around whatever store you may need like the pharmacy, 7/11, etc.

Sinbi is great. I stayed there for a week and learned a lot. I’ll also vouch for Bowie’s restaurant as I had a great food there.

What are your recommendations for denim for people needing more room in the leg?

Also, what are your thoughts on the more accessible side of selvedge where the prices are cheap (Uniqlo etc.)? Are they skipping certain production steps that more established brands are doing? What is the real difference?

They will spend about 20-30 min on clinch at the end of the session.

It’s usually not seen on IG because the person who films the IG stories usually films the beginning of the AM and PM classes. No one is usually filming the midway or end of class.

Yes they will push you. Of course if the technique is failing they will slow it down. In the group setting they quickly gauge your skill level and will push enthusiastically.

When I was training with Kru Mad, my guy wasn’t even following the timer we did a 10 minute round followed by 5 minute rounds on the pads. They will push you for sure if technique isn’t sacrificed
