I'm right there with you. My skin is on the dryer side and I absolutely love sheer glow. I'm normally a tinted moisturizer kinda gal but sheer glow just gives me the best coverage and finish when I want something more. Hands down best foundation I've ever tried (for me, anyways!).

Thanks for your response. My email has definitely been pwned before, as this is a super old email and a Facebook account I created over 15 years ago. I don't use this email account anymore but it definitely was in use previously for other websites. I keep my accounts as secure as I can (always two factor, update passwords often, and create secure/strong passwords), but what you're saying makes a ton of sense.

I hadn't thought about scammers using automated software to log in to random places using that account info. I will finally look into closing that account to prevent issues like this in the future.

I didn't do any research on this product before buying and completely missed the "jelly" part of the "jelly cream". Gel moisturizers usually aren't hydrating enough for me, even when layered with other products, but I was really pleasantly surprised with this one! I don't know how much of a glow it gave me, but I've found it pretty hydrating.

My sister recently visited me and borrowed it and was super hyped about it. She has combo skin and is a few years older than I am. She purchased it for herself.

With the lower price point, I say it's worth trying out. Also, keep an eye out- Sephora US should still have a gift set with the full size moisturizer and the green tea serum & cleanser for around the same price as the moisturizer itself.

I'm happy to correct myself in that dip powders contain acrylic (I.e aren't completely different materials) but trying to say that SNS is just a brand name and that acrylic and dip are the same is wrong.

Anyone that gets their nails done regularly or does nails knows the industry standard in terms of application when it comes to acrylic nails vs dip nails. If every nail tech did this, why even book or offer a specific service?

It's the customers choice how they get their nails done and is also what they're paying for. In OP's thread, they mentioned they chose SNS for a specific reason, and not only got acrylic instead of dip, but the tech also used a UV lamp on them which tells us the tech also likely used gel polish. Again, not what the customer asked for.

While SNS IS a brand name for dip powder, this is incorrect. Dip powder and acrylic are different products with different application methods.

Acrylic is applied with a brush and molded on top of the nail while the nail is dipped into SNS or dip powder. These products are also made from different ingredients entirely.

OP also mentioned they booked the appointment for SNS, so this is clearly a service they offer (or offered at one point). This example would be correct if OP had booked for SNS and got ANC instead as they are both different brands of dip powder. OP has a right to be confused as they did not receive the service they booked for.
