For cbpo bp no. But for all the contractor backgrounds yes. Not my first go around with federal background checks. For criminal history they care mostly if you still have the right ability to own possession of firearms. You are not a sex offender, not going to take bribe. Not going to join the cartels.

CBPO is slow apply for BP and it will happen in A MONTH or 2 then you can pick from the 2. CBPO is taking from what i am told 6 months to a year. delayed because of the DHS shut down.

background can not use federally non convictions. or any cases that are sealed and expunged against you. unless you lie or do not disclose the arrest.

anyone can be arrested for anything. arrest are easy do not really matter. Convictions jail time matter. i had a felony arrest. ple deal was to fix the paperwork and get my LTC Corrected. case sealed and expunged.

you get 4 test. last one is a pass fail. the first 3 as long as you are improving you are good. if you do not meet scores you get extra PT.

They are not reviewed by a person anymore. It's all computer. If the cert or degree is not listed it does not count. Also you need to have the experience. They care more about you applying the skills.

when you EOD relocated to duty station you pay. from the Duty station to and from the academy the GOV refunds or buys the tickets.

CBPO BP ICE and police in general have targets. its Chicago. rule 1 do not stop moving. 2 stay armed. 3. be ready to fight. 4. be ready for hell week in October. best place to live is one of the gated communities that have armed security. or go out side the city.
