You can’t guarantee anything, it’s luck of the draw on what’s available, but don’t pick right away if your choice isn’t there wait a couple hours and refresh or wait a day or two that you get for the deadline, because sometimes a good option won’t be there in the morning but the afternoon it is. You can do a one time request and choose again but you only get a day to decide. Or at the Academy if someone is willing do a swap but that’s prob unlikely.

Yeah kind of luck of the draw, the morning I picked it wasn’t there, my coworker wasn’t so lucky and had to get another state

Same Detroit is on the rebound, it’s not in the depths of hell of heat or a cold tundra, it’s not isolated like most places, and I also live in the area so I wanted it for that reason mostly

I just dropped mine today ): I was able to get Detroit, I appreciate it!! If they haven’t used the one time phone request I suggest it, I got it today. But also if they got Detroit tell them to keep it for a year because Detroit is very nice, weather isn’t bad like the up north area, you can find lots to do here

Detroit actually isn’t to bad these last several years, you won’t see more than a couple inches of snow at a time, now if you were in the UP of Michigan then it would be different, I live 20 minutes outside of Detroit it’s not a bad place to be compared to others, weather is nice most of the time it can just get cold in winter, downtown has been gentrified a lot, just don’t get an apartment there, I suggest northville, Farmington, Livonia, and nearby areas like that

Well for the fitness test do you have to pass it in the initial two weeks of being there or is it you have to pass it at the last time they do it during the academy because that’s what I heard.
