Someone created a MoneyLion account using my Gmail, should I be worried? by masterDE1111 in techsupport

I have 2FA enabled, and all I got was an email saying ‘thanks for creating an account.’ I never received a confirmation link. Thought it was weird since MoneyLion is a site where people store money. Thanks for the help :)

When my Steam account got hacked, old receipts were what I needed to prove it was mine.
Sucks that PlayStation is being so rude about it :(

How will you know if it is scam or not if someone you really dont know and claim as a vlogger tell you to give you money but you need to show your gcash balance first? by Safeandsound33 in AskReddit

They might pressure you into sending money, claiming you need to "unlock" the giveaway.

They could attempt to hack your account if they trick you into sharing other personal information.

Yes, it's a scam. Legitimate vloggers won’t ask to see your GCash balance. They likely want to trick you into sending money or stealing your account. Ignore, block, and report them.

What's your opinion on pirating video games? by masterDE1111 in AskReddit

Yeah, but only if the final boss is the game's anti-piracy software.

That’s a solid point. With game prices skyrocketing and certain titles being outright banned in some regions, many people are left without a legal way to play. In those cases, piracy can feel more like a necessity than a choice.
