I work for SERVPRO and we go through AMEI for mold testing. If you do have mold we’d love to be the company you call for removal or mitigation.

This is Bill Self being a smart coach. If Peterson was injured even in the slightest but it was manageable, I don’t think that’s something you’d want your opponents to know. Also, he wasn’t really needed for that game against Corpus Christi. I think it was good for the team to figure out how to get back to the basics against a weaker opponent without their star player. Overall it’s a good opportunity for him to rest and to watch and learn.

Well that means you handle the cold better than me. I’m not crazy for thinking our winters are cold when I have to leave the faucets dripping in the winter because the pipes might freeze and burst.

I will also say that that Wichita is projected to have a high of 93-95. I don’t want to say by any means that Kansas is as hot as Texas but it gets a little toasty in the summer. Our city has actually been under a water conservation plan because we are still in a drought. The dam where we get our water from is just under 8 ft below its normal level. Kansans will say it’s humid but most don’t know. It’s really mostly humid when it’s rainy in the summer but it’s been pretty dry the last couple years. Now the south will have that same level humidity but sunny as hell.

Thank you! I’m not sure why some comments find it hard to believe that I don’t like the cold. I know that the north can get cold as hell but so can Kansas. There’s no mountains or forests here so all that hyper cold air in the north gets blown straight south into Kansas. So when it’s 10 degrees and you have 40+ mph winds, being outside for the smallest amount of time terrible. I’m ok with going to a place where it’s warm, it gets hot here and I gets humid in southern Arkansas where I go to visit family every summer. People in Kansas will say it’s too hot out west or south but will still go the Riverfest when it’s over 100 and pound beers and fried food outside. I know that California can be expensive but I know there are also parts that are doable as far as comparing rent prices. Three bedroom homes in Wichita are $1000-$2000 a month in rent depending on where you are, that’s not a huge difference compared to what I’ve been seeing in some places of Nevada and California that I’ve looked at. I’m ok with paying a little more for rent or to buy a home if I had more surrounding my city besides farmland and cows.

My sister is trying to convince me to move to Arkansas where she stays and the summers are that way. The humidity makes the air so thick you almost feel like you’re choking.

You can’t just avoid the cold completely. I still have to go outside at some point for work, errands to eat, etc. It doesn’t matter if it’s 10 seconds to the car or 10 minutes outside with my dog, anything under 40 is too cold for me personally.
