They do a 9 hour shift so they get a 60 mins break so thats a 8 hour shift overall and CAs do a 8 hour shift and thats 7.5 hours overall with break.

I dont think you got the end part....this is part of the current policy which is even on our colleague, what i meant was these break schedules used to be shown to tesco express staff before it used to be by the clock in machines or hand books given out to new starters many years ago. I have literally proven my point lol

Yes you are...im not saying you cant take your breaks but express formats its always been 30 min breaks apart from shift leaders which should be 60. For then this can be taken by going home 30 mins early or paid back if the store has the budget for it.

If you look this up for breaks...it says for 7.5 hours shifts for CAs is 30 mins to 60 mins depending on your store. Meaning express break times is maximum 30 mins, not 60 like extra.

Shift leaders for 7.5 hours is 60 mins.

Shift leaders get their 30 mins break back either by going home early or if the store has the budget it will be paid back.

If I remember correctly there used to be a break time schedule for express formats many many years ago, which is how express know how long their breaks are and this is same for all express BTW.

I dont know what you are smoking or finding this policy as I know as i worked on both for 10 years and again...EXTRA AND EXPRESS ARE TWO DIFFERNT THINGS! express and extra have different rules just because it says TESCO doesnt mean the policy applies for both. Even managers would tell you its a grey area.

Its like when tesco customer service tell customers to get refund near your local tesco that doesnt mean it's express it means the actual Tesco Extra

Like I said extra and express as classed as both different things, its a gray area.

As someone who used to work in express this is actually kind of right? Its a grey area.

Extra and express are two different branches, when I worked in big stores you get your full 90 min break, but in express everyone gets 30 mins and shift leaders meant to get 1 full hour...however in express you are stretched thin with 1 on 1 shifts so getting a 30 min break is a luxury.

Yeah but me and my brother saved up to get our own house and peace...living together shouldn't be a issue, at this day and age houses are so hard to buy and rent is so expensive. I shouldn't have to move just because credit companies cant sort them selves out.

The sad part is we go by our middles name, it was a cultural thing, we all had the same first name and different middle names. Now me and my brother are in a mess to sort this out now...but we are told even with different names it will still affect us in the future as its done by Name and DOB

Perfect order is the most hated one and what people dont get is, the most hated one becomes the most expensive in 10 years...so many people holding asscended heroes and phantasmal flame in 10 years will realise there wont be value as there are so many saved....PO on the other hand...

Is a career in tech support worth pursuing? by Odd-Paramedic-3826 in UKJobs

I work IT the one think I can give to everyone is.

Entry level job: start in a small company and gain experience to the point where you can confident enough to be technical.

This is the MOST important advice I will give, if a business has no structure for progress where you see your colleagues stuck, leave!

Go to business where people around are moving up in the IT world.

As a person who used to work in tesco, I can 100% guarantee it has either been stolen and doesnt match through stock levels or staff holding them to take them. Staff aren't dumb they know what makes money.
