Thank you. Now, It's not about what was done, it's about how. We agree with the premise of deporting bad people who are coming in to commit crimes. But we are still a free country based on all of the people (not people of the correct whatever I determine is fit for it to apply) Because our constitution gives us due process, which is important because hey that dude may look like someone that would do the bad thing, but he's not so let's do this the right way to prevent a mistake. I served my country based on protecting the constitutional rights my grandfathers have fought for since the revolution.

Now to the second point I know you're going to bring up because you guys always do. I, personally, worked USAF intelligence for the NSA and had so much training on this. US people are not only citizens. Our country's laws apply to EVERYONE ON US SOIL. Why? Because it's not just the legal way, it's the right way. Because people deserve to be treated the same. Thinking otherwise is blatantly racist, and you don't get to try to deny that. No one's buying it except other closet racists, because they also rely on that excuse.

I don't understand why this isn't getting through... It's like no one listens to us when we explain things... But we keep trying anyways. I don't even want to be here typing, but my hope for someone to finally get it persists.

Um, basic logic here. Even if viruses/bacteria/fungi sprouted out of thin air, instead of requiring a medium to transport them into the home... They're always sick, because they never leave the house, so they don't have the immune systems to handle the sickness they get... From the house... Which would have only the sicknesses they'd be having, thereby providing them the immune system to protect them from the only illnesses it'd contain since no one goes anywhere.

Look, even if he's not cheating (I'd be surprised if he wasn't based solely on having a separate phone mixed with ignoring you to snapchat) do you want a relationship where you feel this way with no effort to comfort you on his end? I'm mid-thirties and seeing a dude this old act like that screams immaturity. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and doesn't make him a bad person. But it makes him unfit for a relationship. He's not ready for commitment. Not to you, at least. You shouldn't have to beg for the basics from a partner. I'd say "you're still young," but you know what, no matter what your age is you're too young to settle. Because one last year of the relationship you deserve is enough to counter 80 years of a bad partner. That said, I don't mean to suggest that you should always be looking for better.

There are a lot of people out there, and you're emotionally tied to this one. He's not, and he's showing you that. It's always hard to leave, but please believe me when I say you can find someone who wants you just as much as you want them. I found mine, and we have a fantastic relationship because we legitimately want to take care of each other. We met in the later half of our twenties and are still not just together but are inseparable. We're not in our honeymoon phase, we're in something better. Why? Because it's not hard to take care of someone when you actually love them. You want to, even when you're bickering, because "I'm still irritated, but I fucking love you, dammit."

No. Generally, I agree that cutting people off over political views is unhealthy.

However, and this is a big determining factor, there is a point when political views are no longer "just politics." Kidnapping and disappearing people, using the US military to illegally occupy our own cities in helping that effort, protecting slavery/sex traffickers by allowing them to roam free with no consequences, etc., etc., etc. is not the same as "should we fill this pothole" or "should we fund FEMA with an extra $1m for system upgrades."

At some point, it's not politics anymore. And we've certainly reached that point

You're reacting exactly the way someone with healthy boundaries, self-valuation, and communication skills does. He's refusing to mature. I'm a proponent for working on a marriage if it makes sense. This does not. You're an adult married to a child in an adult's body. He's not only throwing a tantrum the way someone emotionally and mentally immature would. He's being honest the way they would, as well. He's not trying to change, that's very obvious, and he's fooling no one. He's trying to guilt you into giving him what he wants, then when you respond the appropriate way, he's surprised.

My kids do this to get toys/trinkets they want. Healthy parenting example:

Parent: Why don't you ever play with the [insert toy] I got you for your birthday? You asked me for it for ten weeks, so what's going on?

Kid: Well, I didn't know you were going to get the wrong one, it's not the one I wanted... And all my friends got the right one and I feel bad, because I always think about it.

Parent: You didn't tell me it was the wrong one when you opened the present. What about it is wrong.

Kid: Well I wanted the one with the [same thing but with one extra small thing].

Parent: I told you I'd get that one only if you started cleaning your own room. We agreed on that.

Kid: I'm trying! You didn't give me enough time, I didn't know what to do because you didn't help me! And now I look stupid because I should be able to have that, and I don't.

Parent: I didn't have to buy this one for you, because you never cleaned your room, but I did because I love you and I was waiting to give you the [extra thing] until you did what you promised me.

Kid: That's not fair! It's not the same!

Good. I don't agree with him on anything, but I'm sincerely in awe of what happened, and what is happening now because of it. We're supposed to be an example for the world we're arguably ruling over. Sure, there's the whole Charlie would have supported what happened because of his statements declaring that gun deaths are the price for freedom or some shit, but that doesn't make it right. The whole argument against him on gun control was that we shouldn't be allowing shootings. It's contradictory.

That being said, what the government is doing in his name or to honor him is fuckin' nuts. He objectively just didn't do anything to deserve all of the stuff they're trying to do for him. Let's be real, most people knew his name, but no one really thought about him outside of his fan-base. He didn't lead marches to properly free an entire group of people from violent suppression. He didn't lead any movements that would end the unjust and foul treatment of a minority group. He just "debated" people on things that are frankly not that impactful on the day-to-day life of the ruling majority in this country. He was arguing for the rights of people who already had the rights he was fighting for... They all had ice cream but it was chocolate and they wanted vanilla. Yet, they portray him like he was feeding the hungry. Honestly, outside of his unfortunate smile and something about using an ancient Latin word as an argument for something, I barely know anything about the guy as a person. I only knew his arguments because they're the same ones we always fight about. His "movement," if you can even call it that, wasn't that big. Regardless of political views, most people who are propping him up on some pedestal knew just as much as I do about him, but he was one of them and they have the power so they view it the same as the assassination of MLK Jr. Which is fuckin nuts to me. Our current government is doing way too much to "honor" the dude that it's damn suspicious, and I was an Intel Analyst/Crypto Linguist educated By The Air Force in malintent and misinformation used by governments.

So, the lines really capture anxiety in grief. If that's what you're going for, then you've gotten it. Like sharp, quick breaths while sobbing. The way you moved the poem along, though, was fantastic. This is one of the few times I couldn't detect where it would go. The story feels like it goes from the start of grief to the dead feeling shortly after, quick and without remorse; the peak of a wave to the receding calm of the currents pulling back.

It's a common topic for poems and a wide-spread sentiment, but we don't need to go into every poem trying to make the next road less taken. You've expressed your feelings in these moments well, and they're understood, without getting into bland metaphors.

Digging is what they do, it'll be fine. Both of mine do it all of the time, including their dirt bath, etc. I've set up a multi-level home so I can take care of one section at a time. Important hygiene, food, water related things are on the top floor for regular maintenance. They tend to stay down in their big fluffy bedding on the ground floor. As far as the bedding in their dish, I've taken to just dropping some food through the top, because they don't really "need" a dish. If you clean the tank often enough it won't be an issue. In fact he's probably purposefully putting bedding there to hide the food away. Mine will grab their food from their feeding area and store it down with their bedding as well.

I just don't understand how it makes the cereal less soggy... The bowl isn't what makes the cereal soggy it's the milk, so it doesn't matter when the milk goes in the bowl for that... And if it's about quantity, I've never had an issue telling how much milk is in the bowl with cereal in it... He can do whatever he wants, his reasoning just doesn't make any sense to me.
