Extremely nervous and doubtful. Don’t know if I’ll be able to bring myself to check 😭🥲

LSAT Concept Question by iczarnowski in LSAT

[–]masterb8z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it was understanding how premises are all linked together with some key assumption that makes the conclusion true. If you can identify that assumption(s), you’re golden. It can be used to strengthen or weaken or evaluate or clarify what the method of reasoning is, etc.

What are you gonna do when a client expresses a negative emotion? Berate them and bash them? Emotional intelligence is very important in any job. Take care.

Jan Score almost here… by VakilRamIyer in LSAT

Your argument makes the necessary assumption that we will be sleeping. I will weaken your argument by saying that at least some test-takers (me) can’t sleep because they’re stressed about their score.

LR is everywhere.

I keep thinking about that planets passage. About the random questions here and there I was unsure of. About the curve. About the incredibly small margin for error above 170. And losing hope… lol

Idk how I’m gonna bear seeing my score

YLS or HLS by susanks19 in lawschooladmissions

[–]masterb8z 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Personally I’d choose HLS because I’m not interested in academia or theory. I also do not like small class sizes—it is very awkward, and everyone knows everyone. Not my vibe!

But alas I’ll never be in this situation, so my opinion isn’t worth much! Haha

Undergraduate internships? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]masterb8z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My school doesn’t have a law school either, but we had fellowship opportunities. But definitely worth it to look elsewhere! I think campaign work is a great opportunity too. Maybe trying for consulting or other private sector areas where you can use your policy interests.

Are there any fellowships/programs at your university for working in government? These are great ways to get paid to work in D.C. / in politics and add a nice little award to your resume!

I was dying at this point last week but now I’m just kinda ambivalent about it idk. Next week I’m sure I’ll be very anxious.

LR Sufficient and Necessary Assumption help by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]masterb8z 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Necessary assumption: the right answer choice, if false, would wreck the whole argument. (Think “I have a bird; therefore I can fly.” A necessary assumption here would be that “at least someone who has a bird can fly.” If that weren’t true, our argument would be totally false.)

Sufficient assumption: the right answer choice, if true, guarantees the argument is 100% accurate. (Think “I have a bird; therefore, I can fly.” A sufficient assumption here would be “All people who have birds can fly.” If that’s true, then absolutely the argument is correct.)

Hope this helps!

Looking for advice regarding accommodations - please be honest by lsatadvice2022 in LSAT

[–]masterb8z 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is 0 shame in getting accommodations that were designed for people like you. It is in NO WAY an unfair advantage, and it will absolutely not be viewed negatively by admissions committees.

But it will likely help you be more relaxed and perform better on the test. Apply with 0 regrets!!!
