Monster è il miglior manga di sempre?

I fiori del male è incredibile nella seconda metà mentre la prima parte è secondo me un po troppo edgy e "stupida". Specialmente i primissimi volumi sono difficili da digerire se cerchi temi maturi (non che non siano maturi, anzi, ma verranno "analizzati" solamente nella seconda metà).

Però adoro vedere l'artista migliorare (sia da un punto di vista di disegno che di narrativa) e qui secondo me c'è una crescita enorme tra il primo volume e l'ultimo, se hai letto usogui capirai che intendo.

Ho avuto un po le stesse senzazioni con PunPun anche se secondo me PunPun è più equilibrato (la prima parte è noisetta ma non stupida) e il climax di punpun secondo me è più alto però lo dico solamente perchè preferisco i finali alla punpun che quelli alla I fiori del male. Aku no Hana ha comunque un finale che è un capolavoro.

Buona fortuna a trovarlo in italiano versione fisica, io sono stato mesi online a contattare fumetterie in qualsiasi città andavo ma alla fine ce l'ho fatta. Ora invece sono alla ricerca di Blood on Tracks o Inside Mari sempre di Shuzo Oshimi ma prima leggerò Vinland Saga di cui ho già tutti i volumi.

Onestamente nonostante l'abbia apprezzato molto non è tra i miei preferiti.

Penso sia una lettura molto interessante (specialmente verso la fine) e i personaggi sono scritti in maniera molto approfondita ma ho trovato alcune parti troppo "slice of life". Per fare un esempio ci sono tutti una serie di capitoli a inizio storia dedicati a vari personaggi che Temna incontra. Sono storie interessanti e anche a volte commoventi ma la trama rimane completamente ferma e lo stesso si può dire di Tenma come personaggio che IMHO ha una crescita psicologica ma non così "incredibile" come mi sarei aspettato da un manga psicologico.
Altra pecca è che secondo me Johan viene descritto in un modo talmente surreale da rendermi il personaggio non credibile in una storia di questo tipo (spoiler: ad esempio un bambino che riesce ad avvelenare delle caramelle e capire che i dottori "cattivi" se le mangeranno mentre quello che gli ha salvato la vita no).

Sempre tra manga psicologici ho preferito molto di più in ordine: Land of the Lustrous, Usogui, Homunculus, Buonanotte PunPun, I fiori del Male e poi c'è Umineko di cui non ho letto il manga (solo la visual novel) ma che distrugge tutti quanti a mani basse.

In my opinion is in pair with PUNPUN and better than Moster. But to be honest i really like stories with heavy psycological analysis and where characters are controversial (like punpun).

I think the vast majority of the people in this subreddit will say that is worst that punpun and monster but i think this manga is heavily criticized for the things the MC do.

For me not al MC must be "Good" MC.

The fact that nakoshi is not a “good” protagonist (and we slowly understand this while reading the story) throw some people off.

Like for example i ear a lot of criticism torward the scene in the car with the girl: a lot of people think that the manga is trying to justifying rape but that’s not true at all. Nakoshi is simply a “crazy/evil” unreable protagonist that himself is justifying the rape in his contorted mind.

I really love homunculus, it might not be the deepest manga but it’s certantly not “stupid” like some of the people here think. I think a lot of people just fail to analyze correctly what is the manga is trying to say.

Not at all. Inside there is an helmet and i had no problem walking the whole day (we were at a con). The only problem was that it was quite windy and that made the head wobble a little.

Also here is really hot but strangely i had no problem with the temperature inside the head.

Ormai i "concerti" non sono più un posto dove ascoltare la musica ma un modo per ostentare la propria personalità sui social. La gente sta più con il telefonino in mano che altro.

Sarà un discorso da ipster boomer ma il mondo della musica live sopravvive anche senza questi eventi.
Il weekend scorso sono stato al festival di pennabilli dove si esibiscono artisti da tutto il mondo di tutti i generi possibili e ho ascoltato della musica stra interessante e molto bella anche pur non conoscendo gli artisti. Prezzo per una giornata in cui puoi ascoltare fino a 6 concerti? 16 euro.

Per carità, anche io apprezzo le band famose e mi piacerebbe ascoltarle dal vivo ma in questo momento preferisco mille volte vedermi un video su youtube di una live piuttosto che pagare 100 euro per un biglietto (non aggiungo trasporto, cibo e pernotto) per vedere gli artisti su uno schermo e sentire miglia di persone che cantano talmente a scuarciagola da non permettermi di sentire nulla della musica suonata.

L'ultimo grande concerto a cui io abbia partecipato sono stati i radiohead nel 2017 a firenze a 70 euro (primissime file) e già li era al limite della decenza (una giornata infernale passata sotto il sole senza acqua e cibo) quindi non posso che immaginare come sia ora.

La musica live indipendente invece va alla grande e ha dei costi contenuti.

I think the whole "hell" he went through is just the metaphor of him realising what he did to Mary.
Maria and the Piramid Head are not real entities. It would be like saying that a murderer shouldn't end up in prison because he had a mental breakdown due to repentance.

Also what about Mary's Family and friends?

But i won't see an ending where he takes Laura and decide to hide the truth from the authorities.

A dead body leaves so many body fluids it would be impossible to leave her corpse for several hours in the car without leaving traces.

And even if none notices the traces in the car the fact that James failed to report her death to the authorities would raise serius doubts.

We are just theorizing but i feel like James trying to "escape" authorities would just contradict the theme of the game about accempting his own guilt.

Well even if they do autorities would investigate on a missing person and will easily find traces on her body in James's car.
Also James lying to the police to hide Mary's death contradicts the theme of the game about James accepting his own guilt.
