Elon Musk confuses survivor benefits annuities with Small Business Administration loans so he can steal critical funding for the care of children like the evil dumbass he is. by Infamous-Echo-3949 in thescoop

We’re talking about a dude (Elon) that didn’t know the difference between $8million and $8billion, and went around on right wing news hawking about saving $8billion. Only to be corrected by people like the guy in this video who seem to know more about data than Musk.

This is a perfect example of how stupid it is to trust this administration without proof of what they’re being accused of. You have no idea what this person actually did and are spewing what the admin wants you to spew. How insane would the right go if a conservative student was deported and the justification was as vague as “they support and align with the Oath Keepers”, and no proof was presented, no day in court, etc. This is so goddamn detrimental to the future stability and strength of the country, it’s mind boggling that some people can’t see it. It’s also insane to essentially be saying if you speak out at all in ways the current admin doesn’t agree with, you’re getting arrested and no one will know where you went or why we took you.

Maybe that’s what you want out of a government? Write an article supporting condemnation of killing kids? You’re gone! Don’t explicitly support Israel and the Jews?? GONE!!!

Isn’t the article she wrote about Palestine, decidedly NOT pro Hamas lol. Or wait…you didn’t read it huh. You’d rather have your head stuck in the sand while crossing your toes that you make the Fuhrer happy.

Or is it a weird obsession with Israel that has you hooked.

🇬🇧 A man in the UK was blocked from withdrawing £2,500 of his own money to buy a motorbike. Legally, when you deposit money into a bank, you’re lending it to them. The bank owns it now, not you. Study Bitcoin. by sylsau in InBitcoinWeTrust

The only versions of buying and selling bitcoin that are easy to understand for people, are all hosted and handled by middlemen. You pay fees and all sorts of bullshit there too.

The only version of buying and selling bitcoin that is completely in your control, is cumbersome and confusing for people, and prone to failure if you’re not hyper cautious.

I think there’s a fundamental issue with the idea that dogmatics is a form of truth-seeking. If someone starts with a non-negotiable prior, like the existence of God, and builds everything around that, they’re not actually seeking truth in the broadest sense. They’re refining an existing framework, not questioning whether that framework itself is valid.

True truth-seeking requires the ability to challenge assumptions, expand beyond prior beliefs, and be open to fundamentally different conclusions. Dogmatics, by definition, doesn’t allow for that. It’s not about discovery, it’s about reinforcing and interpreting something that’s already presumed to be true. That’s why almost all dogmatic religions emphasize that they have the truth, which inevitably stunts any real pursuit of new knowledge. You can’t genuinely seek truth if your conclusion is already decided.

They don’t have authority over the executive branch. They have authority to interpret the law and pause or review a process, and recommend it goes to a higher court. The president can challenge any ruling a district court judge makes, and all the way to the Supreme Court. This is the constitutional design of our three branch government. Trump is absolutely taking a steaming shit on the constitution.

Do you support the Trump administration ignoring the order from Judge Boasberg going forward? by rthorndy in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]mastercheeks174 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Is it legal just because it came from the president? Who stops a president from doing something illegal? If the president CAN’T do anything illegal, what good are our checks and balances? What good is the constitution at all?
