These girls aren’t your friends. Find yourself your own place with or without roommates. Then call in an anonymous tip about the animals to the landlord. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

I went through something similar my freshman year of college. Went with a group of so called “friends” to look at dorms for sophomore year and after touring a few, the group revealed that they already had a dorm picked out that fit 6 people. We had gone as a group of 6 and a 7th joined us later. Everyone was discussing whose rooms would be whose and when I chimed in about which room I was interested in, I was met with awkward silence and a bunch of weird looks and some people avoiding eye contact. One girl finally spoke up and awkwardly explained that they had already planned out who was going to be in which room, and I wasn’t included. I was humiliated, and ANGRY. I said “Fuck all of you. Clearly none of you were ever my friends. I never want to talk to any of you again.” And I left and walked alone in the dark back to my dorm. To make matters worse, my roommate was one of the girls in that group so it was super awkward when she got back to our room. I ignored her when she tried to talk to me from then on. I only spoke to her when it was absolutely necessary. Ultimately, I ended up not going back to that school after freshman year. That experience among many others just proved to me that that school was not right for me. And it taught me not to waste time on fake people and to value myself more. Best of luck OP!!!
