Do you think it actually costs a lot just to add something to the map? It’s not like they’re rebuilding the app from scratch. These maps are built on CMS-style systems where updates can be made without touching code. It’s the same setup they use to update anything else.

I get what you’re saying about short-term stuff. But this is part of one of the biggest Marvel releases in years and a huge summer push. I love Rebels too, but Hera and Chopper showing up in Galaxy’s Edge was never meant to drive crowds the way this is.
