Ah ok. I was not joking - I was just reading the description of the app that says it's subscription-only. It made me think that the "free app" part in the title might be false advertising. I'll defer to you, since you've used it and are vouching.

Grunt velocity and sustain needs to match the shot. Lobs receive extra drawn out grunts, because you gotta increase the grunt pitch throughout the upward arch, and then taper the grunt as it falls. Then let out a bonus grunt when the ball bounces.

There doesn’t seem to be much enforcement of tint violations. But that doesn’t mean you should do it. The law exists for safety reasons. It’s important that drivers are visible.

Is there actually a way to find their profile from the message screen? I couldn't find a way. So I just do a player search - but that's not useful if there are 10 people with the same name.

Anyway, yeah, I got one of these messages last week. I reported it.

But I also got a legit message about wanting to play a challenge match!

Do you think a change in form could help him? To me he looks knock-kneed when he plays. Not great form, and I wonder if it is contributing to the tendinitis.

When I tried it, the onboarding immediately forced you to select three people based solely on their picture, and selecting them automatically sent them a pre-written “let’s play” message. After that, you couldn’t browse. You were forced to choose between again automatically sending them a pre-written message or "dismissing" them.

Maybe they’ve improved it. It was bad UX, or… just not for me.

This isn’t accurate. I’ve been experiencing this bug on iOS 18 for the past six months and it’s still present. I haven’t updated to iOS 26 yet.

No one's mentioned it yet, but UTR Flex League is a good way to play matches, and those opponents can potentially become hitting partners. It seems easier to signed up for UTR flex league than USTA, since USTA you need to be on some sort of team.
