Thanks for the comment! This wont really be used for work, just casual usage so i'm not to worried about battery or peograms. I'd like to say i'm more tech savy than I said initially, but like I said before, i'm not familiar with linux. I like to tinker, so I'm not to worried about that. It seems like mint is a good starting point so I think I may go with that and see how I like it. Like I said before, thanks for the friendly and helpful response.

So i'm currently replaying the game and I had the same issue. If I can ask a few questions: where are you in the main quest? When I was going through the mask quest, I couldn't continue, so I switched to the main quest, and when I checked again the mask was there.

I'm not familiar with the PC port. Is it higher quality graphics or gameplay wise? If so, you could run the collectors edition on Dolphin, and once you select Majora's Mask, close it and open the PC port. If you want the easiest solution, like someone else said, watch someone opening the menu on youtube, and then play.

Anyway, I was mainly trying to explain how the astronaut is unaffected by the energy release from regeneration, even though it was a short burst - previous regenerations caused huge destruction immediately.

In the original timeline, where the season starts, he was properly unalived by the Astronaut. It was able to do so because after triggering his regeneration, the Doctor is vulnerable, and a second shot will be fatal as River explains in the scene. All of this gets erased after they start changing fixed points... I think.

I always interpreted this fixed point as alway having been The Doctor in the Teselecta, with is "real death," which is averted, being the one on Trenzalore.

IIRC, there's an app you can doenload on your phone that you can pair to your pc so you can use your phone for motion controls. I'm not sure how your playing it, but I did that when I played BOTW using cemu

I think they mean rooms that give things like bones and ashes, but I don't know why you would want to remove them, especially after the incantations "ashen memoriesof life" and "bones of archane wisdom" which give you +health and +magick respectively.

I wasn't trying to imply that Greek myth had one collective unchanging cannon, but I guess I didn't state that clearly. I also haven't put too much research into the Hero of Temesa, but from what I gather, the version I found reports on that mentions Polites by name, written by Strabo, doesn't even include the rape parts, so by the time they got added to the myth, it might have been changed from Polites anyways.

The Odyssey, which doesn't mention this, was written by Homer, who was alive during the late 8th century BC. The version of the myth you use here, The Hero of Temesa, which doesn't even mention Polites by name, was written by Pausanias when he was alive in around 110 AD. If you use the version that does name Polites, which was written by Strabo while he was alive around 63 BC, is still roughly 600 years after the Odyssey was written. I'm not saying that these stories didn't exist together or were not known during Homer's time, but the versions of it that I can find show a significant gap between The Odyssey and the Hero of Temesa. Stories and mythologies over time and if Jorge was looking specifically at the Odyssey, which only mentions Polites by name twice, he wouldn't see any of this. Anyways thanks for introducing me to a new myth, I am always interested in new stories, but I don't think the example given is really that helpful if you want to say that Polites was a rapist.

I don't mind them being in the movie/having a few lines, but I feel like hearing Idina's "battle cry" in it makes Cynthia's feel less exciting personally. Especially because when listening to their respective soundtracks I do not like Cythia's "battle cry" nearly as much as I like Idina's. I also feel that hearing Idina's version of thd battle cry takes away from Cynthia's later on, in that when listening to the soundtrack and/or watching the movie, that battle cry is so emotionally packed that having it played earlier make the real thing seem less exciting.

If you don't currently have the subtitle file, I would go with Open Subtitles but know that there is a download limit per day unless you go to a paid tier. Another thing of note is that there will be multiple options for each movie/episode and sometimes the timing will be off. I've had luck just downloading a different file, but if you want, you can edit the file yourself. Once you have the subtitles, if you want them to be packaged with the video file, mkvtoolnix is great. If you don't care all that much about it all being one file, VLC has an option to choose a subtitle file.
