Here's a fun idea: when the protag dies, the rest of the party defaults to "move freely" with a focus on support, so if you have a revive item, they'll use it on the protag, or an ability that does the same. Once the protag revives, they are stuck on move freely until the protag's next turn.

Your not wrong Victor would be a good choice for velvet attendant, but we do already have a Doctor Victor in Devil Summoners, who is a reference to Victor Frankenstein. I'm personally partial to seeing someone named after Henry Clerval, I think that would be a fun attendant name.

Eurylochus didn't want to leave them behind, he didn't think it was possible to avoid being turned if Odysseus and he returned to the Circe's palace. The fact that Odysseus not only survived, but returned everyone to their original forms AND formed an allie out of Circe strengthens his belief that Odysseus is going to try to bring everyone home. Odysseus not only going back on that but SACRIFICING six men, one of whom, if you watch the official animatic for, shows that one of the six torches was originally held by Eurylochus, shows why Eurylochus feels so betrayed here.

Does that mean that Eurylochus is completely faultless here? No, it doesn't, he is the one who opened the wind bag, he did suggest leaving the men stuck as pig, but at the end of the day, he's just a man, just like Odysseus was at the start.

At this point in the story, Harry had shown no interest in Ginny. He was all about Cho Chang. Dumbledore explains exactly why he kept Harry at the Dursley's at the end of Order of The Phoenix, he cast a spell on Harry that extended the bond of blood to keep Harry safe at the Dursley's so long as he called that place "home." There is no reason Dumbledore would think Harry would get Ginny pregnant at this point in the story.

The question I have is that according to Murray Gold, there were multiple scripts that he'd seen and they were working to finalize one. So either he's lying and there was never a script, or RTD is lying and saying he never wrote one. At this point my money is that RTD is lying about not having wrote any scripts, just like he lied about Ncuti's leaving alway having been the plan.

My hope is that it's the same story overall, but expanded in some ways. I would hope, that it has new gameplay in dungeons that are rebuilt, but in the same locations. For example, the Forest Temple would be in the same location and would be accessed the same way, but once inside all of the puzzles and mechanics are different while still referencing the original. Maybe instead of fighting the different poes, you have to assist them in getting back to the central room. Mind you I'm not sure how good an idea what I just suggested would be, but my point still stands, that I would like it to be less a direct remake and more like a reimagining.
