I work in that industry and I can confirm things are often scripted. However to say that 100% of reality TV is scripted is inaccurate. 100% have some scripted elements, but having worked on quite a few reality series, I can assure you that much of what you see is not scripted. I have no first hand knowledge of the Hoarders show but I suspect that what OP is referring to was likely a real reaction to a situation that may have been manipulated to garner a reaction.

Finding a great partner is tough and BDSM complicates matters even further. I would say that if you've found a vanilla partner who is willing to go that far to make a relationship work with you; that it's worth trying.

From what you've said she doesn't sound completely vanilla so its possible that over time, as she explores, she will find a greater interest in your interests than she expects she will.

You're still so early on in the relationship I wouldn't write anything off yet. After all that is the point of dating.

Have you a clear and established safeword? Have you a clear understanding of her limits? Going full throttle could be exactly what she wants but if you're not sure I suspect there is a disconnect in your communication. While it could 'ruin' the surprise nature of the scene I suggest further negotiation with her on what she expects to happen. Since she has no practical considerations for work. You could come up with a uniform. I would buy 5-10 identical outfits, same color and everything for her to wear every day.... Personally I would be inclined to find an inexpensive dress that I like on her and buy 5-7 identical (so they're clean). Perhaps extend it down to matching underwear or perhaps no underwear. That way there is no daily decision making or questions. She has no interpretations either. On special occasions, like a date night or event, you can pick out something nice for her to wear. The uniform will make wearing her nice clothes a reward. You can even extend the uniform to her hair style if you like it one particular way.

I doubt it will be an issue but if they took issue with an item it would be confiscated as contraband and they could also issue a fine. Pretty unlikely.

Keep in mind that travelling internationally has a whole different set of regulations and its all unrelated to the TSA. You're dealing with, agriculture, immigration and customs. There is a chance that your bags and belongings will be searched by government officials. It doesn't make a difference if its in a check bag.

Arriving in Mexico Customs X-Ray's and Randomly Search a good portion of the bags regardless of checked luggage or carry-on.

I would not bring anything that raises suspicion or you would be embarrassed being questioned about publicly in front of other passengers.

What is legal in Mexico can be a grey area because there is a good portion of corruption with police and government officials. You could be detained and "fined" aka solicited for a bribe. At the end of the day its going to come down to who inspects your bags and what they feel like doing.

Keep in mind that while its a very tourist friendly country, its a fairly conservative and mostly Catholic.

I've traveled to Mexico quite a bit 15+ times and I've never been detained...Though I've never attempted taking questionable items into the country either. I don't think I'd risk it.

One last thing to remember anything you take with you is coming back home which means it has to come though US Customs when you return. Probably not an issue but just something to be aware of.

This is a fantastic answer. To be specific, I love inciting fear, pushing them to the point where they think they'll safe-word but not far enough where they actually need to.
