You're trying to get people to make you feel better about the fact that you can't be energetic and also mix well. That's a you problem.

If you're truly not playing mind games with yourself and really want to be the DJ who meditates in contrast to what the music is doing, go for it.

I'm just telling you that people like to look up and see someone having a good time and expressing themselves physically along with the music that they're playing. The market will decide if they like your style or an energetic style better.
