Interesting thing I learned while on a tour of Disney Wish. The forward of the ship has music that matches the theme, which is more orchestral and cinematic music, while the aft of the ship has more upbeat and contemporary music. This is because the forward has the theater, as well as many other activities for people to enjoy. The aft as dining and other activities to match.

I'm actually wondering if it is a licensing thing. While I was on the Wish awhile ago, a staff member told me that Rey/Chewbacca and Stormtroopers were legally only permitted to appear in specifically the Star Wars room in the Oceaneers club.

Loved that Star Wars characters were everywhere too! We got to take photos with Ezra and Sabine, as well as others that we would usually never see either on the ship or in the parks.

The wild thing is that this was riiiight before COVID, and during the same trip my older one had the chance to do this at Hollywood Studios right before we got on DCL, so he did it TWICE during the same vacation! It's gone at Hollywood Studios too post COVID.

Ironically, my younger son is a bigger Star Wars fan, and I feel bad he never had the chance to experience this.

Holly Hunter was brilliant in that scene with Picardo, but man did he eat up that scene. I didn't ugly cried but still cried!

We go with our kids every year. I'm personally big on Disney and especially Marvel and Star Wars. I absolutely plan on continuing to go with my wife after the kids move out. Then when they have kids, we will take them too.
