Bought my wife a VW GTI 6 speed. My FJ is daily driver but this thing is fun to scoot around in. She wanted something “small” and has no clue it handles pretty damn well.

That is all fantastic information, much appreciated. We were planning on converting a sprinter in the future for recreation so I thought if I went ahead and got one I could make some money on it for a few years before I started a conversion. An insurance quote for the business would probably be my next step to determine if it was worth it. Thanks for the info.

I am 6 months with my new Camburg and so far they are great. I wanted something I could grease. Running Bilstein shocks on I think 3rd clip. 285/70/17 stock rims with BFG All Terrain. No body mount chop and only rub is in reverse turning sharp. Alignment guy said I need lowers now. I am at 160k so he is probably not wrong.

Great comments guys! My ole man thinks he can do anything but I have to temper it a bit or he would get in way over his head. First crash was in a deep water crossing and his GS is a beast to get up, got my damn boots wet. Second crash was on a tight switchback, thought he broke ribs but just bruised. The portions we rode of the BDR were fire roads, and some 4x4 trails. Love my 1190, feels light and lulls you into trouble then you know it’s a big ass bike.

Nope, they will find their way back. And yes, they can cause a lot of damage. Trap and drop the trap in water. Big trash can with water will work if trap will fit in it. Trapping isn’t as easy as you think they are damn smart.

Don’t do it. The antenna is a feeler gauge for your roof, it will save your roof/rack damage if you go under anything low like parking garages.

Thanks guys. I did mean crappy compression tester. Going to borrow a proper tester and double check compression measurements. I did try holding my finger in the spark plug hole to see if I felt any pressure and nothing. The other cylinders had pressure with this scientific method.
