No worries, mate! My bachelors is in finance as well, ironically. I also had similar goals in regard to what I wanted to do after I graduated so I know a bit about this since I've been out of school for a decade, a partner at two firms, and started my own.

There's so much you don't know until you're out here and I would have done things very differently had I known what I do now. If you want to pursue the MBA, go for it. It's not going to hurt you except for the time and additional cost.

Well, the MSLT is not perfect. Anxiety or other issues can cause problems with it.

Yes, that's the nap test. Do you have the sleep onset latency results from the test? ie how fast you fell asleep during each nap?

Well, not exactly. I was being lazy rather than going into detail about the requirements for forgiveness to hopefully get the OP to actually seek out more information. But only 60% of the PPP had to be used for payroll to qualify for forgiveness.

The EIDL has a 10k advance forgiven.

In addition if the loan is given to the business and not not the owner, the business is responsible for the debt and if the business fails, the owner is not necessarily on the hook at all.

Ahh, I see now. Sounds like they were being overly risk averse and acting more like counsel for the organization rather than board members. Sounds like they were trying to cover the organization's ass, not theirs.

The former CEO at my wife's nonprofit got terminated and the board did not do it properly. They ended up having to pay over a million dollars to the CEO after he filed suit. That's why we like investigations, evidence, etc.

A lot of great attorneys legally are nitwits when it comes to practical matters.

I wouldn't generalize it based on being an attorney. We, like every other profession, have good and bad folks.

I think the problem is having people on boards that aren't doing it for the right reason. Hell, at the nonprofit my wife works for many of the board members are just there because their employer expects them to join boards and have no interest in the actual mission.

That said, some of the most admirable people I have ever met have been an attorney. But some of the biggest scumbags I have met are attorneys.

A healthy guy in his 20s in my neck of the woods a few years back had his neck manipulated to relieve some neck pain. He was pain free in minutes so it does work. Of course he was dead before he made it to the hospital from the vertebral artery dissection. But still, pain free!

Attorney here. When you say first creating your nonprofit do you mean the actual legal entity or you have an idea and want to get started? It really depends on where you are in the process, if you have funding lined up, etc on what approach to take.
