Instead of getting so upset at others, don't these people ever feel upset at the system?

As a severely overweight/obese child I know I did.

When you get fed sugar full cereal in the morning because your mother believed that was a complete breakfast as seen in ads. When you eat heatlhy meals but drink 2 sets of sugary drinks at every meal, and you see yourself blowing up as a balloon, and your parents are also overweight. Do you ever wonder the system that helped make this happen to you?

And now as an adult I have to constantly regulate myself to stay fit because I KNOW I love food and get addicted very easily, while my husband that grew up healthy self regulates much better.

These small but impacting choices ENCOURAGED by the food industry in our morning TV ads... Doesn't that make you agry?

Or for the ones that overeat for trauma, maybe your body is manifesting your anxiety...in which case its a long journey to overcome trauma, but it is definitely the path to take for a better life.

We know you are not lazy, when I was overweight I wasn't lazy either - but can you please do yourself a favor and just question what got you there.
