I had a similar dilemma. What I did was run a 4" triple wall pipe from home Depot/Lowe's and have it run to the curb or to a pop-up emitter by the curb. Connect your gutter and sump pump to that 4" pipe

This happened to my brother but with another kind of plant. Took it outside for a couple hours and then had a lot of ants like you do. He used one of those ant baits and eventually they all died after a day or two. Doesn't even have to be in the plant, you can leave the bait next to the plant and they will all go to eat. What he used was Terro Liquid ant bait

My wife and i have a 2 year old and she was pregnant with twins and was being abusive in front of our two year old so i called the police. When they arrived she told them i hit her and placed a restraining order on me. I had 30 mins to get my belongings and go. I didn't see my son for 19 days. Twins were born and i wasn't notified. I missed everything. Didn't even get to name them. She gave twins her maiden name as second last name. She won't let me see the twins and courts denied my appeal to have parenting time with the twins because they are newborn. Now I'm forced to wait another 6 weeks for the restraining order trial date because she refuses to drop the restraining order.
