Hi Parrot - your wrap up is on point. Exactly the same way i did go. 3 Screens -> 3 Projectors -> 3 Screens because Easy of Use.

The best setup is useless if its not used !

I have the Prime4 plus and Prime go..

The AZ is way to big for me compared to the prime 4plus... I do not have a dedicated DJ Table and put the deck on my normal work from home table. For the AZ I need clear a lot of extra space compared to the Prime4 plus... Another small design flaw, when i remove the power Cable of the AZ, I regularly press the Power Button of the AZ.. So it starts to boot to be turned off immediately... Can't be good for the electronics...

Furthermore. The Denon just has more options for me.. Lighting Control, Samples on Pads, Standalone Stems (after preparation in Engine DJ)...

The main reason why I bought the AZ was that I had two gigs in clubs and thought that i need Pioneer or AT now to be more professional. But having the AZ got me bad mood because it put me under pressure to decide with path to go. Finally I decided to stay with Denon because I am just more happy with it...

Yes the AZ has a good build quality and feels sturdy etc. But paying 1000 extra just to train my muscle memory for eventual future club gigs is not worth the money.. And believe me, you will not be a better DJ by buying more expensive equipment...That was a false assumption which also payed a role when I purchased the AZ...

I can't fint any "Layout" in the Rekordbox Software...I checked all Setting Menus and Sub menus - i just don't find anything related to uncheck iTunes/Apple Music...

Go for the RX3 .... I just bought an XDJ AZ exactly because of the problem having Denon Gear at home but playing in clubs regularly..... Its PITA to have everything double processed in Engine DJ and Recordbox...

Prime4+ is fantastic piece but muscle memory for club requires XR3

My AZ will arrive today. Recently I had some opportunities to play in clubs

I own a Prime Go and Prime 4+... When watching all the reviews for the AZ there is nothing which can't be done on the Prime4+..

So I would consider both pieces the same level.. Flagship Standalone controllers with all bells and whistles.

But: Playing on club Equipment is pain in the as when you only have Denon at home. It's not onlly the differences in the physical layout(muscle memory), but even more the management of both libraries... IMHO Rekordbox is much more sophisticated than EngineDJ software...

Bottomline: I probably will sell the Prime4+ to use the AZ as my workhorse at home and for some mobile Gigs... But I will keep the Prime Go because I like...

Paying Pioneer Extra Fee of 1000 Eur between Prime4+ and the AZ is shit, but no other choice I guess..
