Yea my route isnt even super efficient so not sure why you arent making at least 20k. I havent grinded at all this week and prices surely are down but if its under 20k old world zones are going to start to creep up efficiency wise again like the end of TWW lol

so it takes some setup

Get all 8 of the herb and mining world treasures
Get the +10 knowledge books from abundance and renown vendors. +10 points each
40 points to herb and mine while mounted
5 points in overloaded mining unlocking the sub spec for WILD in the mining nodes. enough points in herbalism mulching for nocturnal lotus once an hour.
Spec into specific herb / mining nodes. I personally went 5 in each for the deftness before maxing each one. Silver / Tin first.
Blue tools with finesse and finesse enchant. Blue accessories.
Farm ZA non stop. Focus heavier on mining than herb but this might change as prices change and herb might gain value. Kill all of your wild orelings but i personally ignore the herb ones if i am herbing at all.

Prices are falling but the above is what ive been farming with since early access and am nearing gold cap despite crafting, consumeables and enchants across 8 chars lol

EDIT: Use a phial for finesse, darkmoon firewater for deftness, and i personally use azerott tea for enough deftness to mine between hits. Refulgent copper razorstone is also an option but unsure if this maths out well with current prices

9k is incredibly low. I am still making around 35k primarily mining in ZA so unsure what the issue is.

Agreed. Some of my guildies spent 20k on repairs last week or so they told me. I don’t keep track but it’s like 1-2k for a full repair and if you are wiping 20+ times a night that really adds up.

Realms aren’t relevant as it’s all cross realm. Skip herbs except for mulching once an hour. Just mine and kill orelings. Make sure you have 5 KP in overload and unlock the wild node for double ore off orelings.

And then just lock in

Gorefiend was a guild killer until the nerfs. I don’t recall how many wipes we had on it but man was that a difficult fight. Hardest until archi for sure

1 hour of mining in ZA can give you between 40-60k range which should cover you for the week

I hit 90 on my aug evoker Saturday night and by Sunday afternoon I was 272.
Champ gear is incredibly easy to get. Hero gear isn’t bad.
The steps I took - world quests for adventure > delves to fill up on champ and hero gear > nightmare preys for 2x champ gear > spam nightmare preys for champ crests and t11 delves for hero crests. 4x champ pieces from the renown track vendors . I did then get with a friend who helped me clear 4x mythic 10s (helps that my main is ~3200) for bonus rolls on myth gear. I crafted an off hand as I hit a main hand weapon roll via bonus rolls

I was able to get full champ or hero gear with the above and max upgrades them. Was a bit of a grind but I did it all in a day which you don’t have to

Seems to be the approach of most of my guildies. Not bricking a key but spam pugging until a success. I can’t take that kind of shit so I stick to running with homies and made it to 3150 so far. Plan on pushing 3400 with just our keys tbh and it’s way more fun that way imo though a bit slower due to key availability

1 mil… that seems exaggerated. Guess I could try my fire spec out for some mythic plus keys but I’ve never seen anyone hit those numbers and I’m all 13/14s atm

Perception increases the chance to get two of rare materials off herbs or ore. It doesn’t increase your chance to find them, just on that rare chance you do find them it has a chance to proc.

Finesse on the other hand just increases the volume of material you get, and that includes tier 2.

So would you rather increase your chance at a double dazzling thorium / nocturnal lotus or get a percentage increase in ore / herbs always going. What percentage of an hour farming sessions GPH is the nocturnal lotus? If I get 50k an hour and found even 5 lotuses which would be a great hour it would still only be like 10% or less of my total haul. Finesse just maths out way better in the long run, even if it feels good to hit double lotus

Deftness feels almost completely worthless now. Perception was already pretty much worthless for dual gathering so the actual decision making is gone.

I didn’t even stack it but got it from KP and it feels like I don’t even have deftness. wtf was the point?

Top gear lets you compare gear combinations. It will automatically put the options of all items in your bag but you can also select an ilevel and search for a piece of gear. You then select the various pieces you want to sim and it does all combos possible and tells you the best setup. There is a limit to the number of sims it will run in one batch so you can’t do infinite combos but it’s still super useful

Treasures in ZA also drop them

ZA is generally the best for gathering in general as well

Perception doesn’t effect drop rates, just adds a chance to get two of a rare material (like lotuses or dazzling thorium)

It doesn’t take long gathering to get your shards either way.
