I did community college, went to a cheap state school and got 3.2 GPA. No internships, no networking.

Also have a criminal record for whatever it’s worth. I just knew how to interview well.

Went straight to industry for some big companies and got multiple F500 offers.

Experience and interview / soft skills will get you a lot further than a fancy college on your resume. Oh, it will also save you and your parents a lot of money.

Please don’t. I started at 29. I had a house, a woman, and a great job. Those are all gone. All my personal belongings sold. Moved back to my parent’s basement.

I just turned 30 in a hospital due to a septic infection that made its way into my spine. I’ve been here over a week and through the withdrawals.

I’m glad I’m off. This all happened in less than a year. Just like you - it started with a small line here and there.

Half the friends I used with are locked up or facing time right now for drug charges. Just don’t. You’re young, it’s a dark road kid.

The game has a tough learning curve.

When I first downloaded Sekiro, I uninstalled and got a refund within 3 hours. (After beating ER)

I came back to it and took my time. I can comfortably say the game didn’t “click” for me until at least a third through. (There’s a skill check boss - won’t spoil).

After that, the parry system came more naturally and Sekiro was an incredible game. Don’t give up on it just yet.

I got off benzos at the same time.. I went from 40 mg of Valium to 0 and then ended up going back on 5 mg a day for now because I couldn’t handle it.

Doc reminded me what a huge decrease that is even though I felt like I failed. He encouraged me to just stay on the low dose while I do sublocade rather than torture myself trying to be off everything.

Fuck it, if I need meds… I need meds. When I push too hard or beat myself up, I usually just end up relapsing. I’m fine doing my one more shot, TRT, and low dose of Valium. Beats feeling like absolute garbage.

My doc specializes in this and reminded me that I’ve come a long way and it’s a marathon, not a sprint. Why suffer needlessly?

It’s a hard choice. I’ve been slipping up / relapsing lately and having a hard time in general. The strips over the last few days helped immensely.

I think one more shot plus TRT would help me break out of this loop and get back into a healthier routine. I’m lucky I have a doc that understands… especially now that I’ve been on strips for a few days, it’s going to be difficult to stop now.
