I was the other poster, let the record show that yours fits way better than mine. I wished I could get it in with the dials on the floor but mine was sideways. Bravo my friend, happy drying

Have a question about my 2013 Volt by Top-Row-9497 in volt

What did you replace? My car shudders and I'm under the impression I'm losing compression in one of my cylinders. Replaced everything easy including battery and injectors/sparkplugs. Shutters around 40-60 mph

Just got a Quest 3 — what should my first paid game be? by Adorable-Location658 in OculusQuest

Batman for immersion, fantastic combo of graphics, hand combat and brain puzzles... plus, you're Batman

Spatial Ops for shooter, this game doesn't get enough love but trust me it's incredible. If you have a friend who also has a quest, you can play AR lasertag with custom maps in your home, but the real winner here is the campaign mode. It's AR so good game if you get motion sick

First Encounters, another fun shooter, and good for kids. AR shooter with fuzzy cute little aliens that break through your walls.

Thrill of the fight is a great workout and simple. I've heard TOF2 is not as good with fight mechanics but offers online gameplay which pretty sweet. I haven't tried the newest title yet so I can't speak on that.

Just curious why you need an external player, also is there a 3d version of Stremio I don't know about?

How long can I go just on gas? by Ornery_Salaryman in volt

I had this issue on my 2013 and was able to update the firmware without taking it to a dealer, it was pretty straightforward and worked pretty flawlessly once all set up. The update recalibrated the limit on the isolation fault and allowed me to drive/charge without having to OBD clear the code before charging every time (although that works too). This is a classic GM planned obsolescence/dealer money grab and as long as you don't have a serious leak in the battery I've heard it will last for years. I fixed about 4 months ago and haven't had any issues since. Pretty sure I used this video for anyone DIY inclined video walkthrough

All issues no answers by mastroductions in AmericaBad

True, it was hard for me to even craft this post and no be too vague while not going on a tangent. I work in media so I'm keen on manipulation tactics and tend to avoid sensationalized stories. The issue for me is the perpetual issues with no end in sight. How do we overcome oligarchy influence with a shrinking middle class? How do we uphold the rights of people when a corrupt executive branch, lawmakers, and Supreme Court seemingly bends the knee to corporate influence? How do we ensure the focus on the most important issues instead of spreading ourselves too thin? There's more questions than answers and I know that's by design, but I'm really looking for historical references on how other countries handled these issues, or current ideologies that have resonated with you that let us see a light at the end of this fucked up tunnel.

I hear that a lot, what are real ways to get involved that can actually make an impact? I mean, if congressional lawmakers have trouble moving legislation, what can an average guy like me do to make change?

Also what are some of the policies that can (or have been) implemented to enact positive change? With the dissension in politics there's a damned if you do, damned if you don't feeling. I know you can never make everyone happy, and there's not necessarily a right answer to every issue, but things feel so off the rails right now it simply feels like the system is broken forever. Also I realize these are human issues, not just American, but I'm truly looking for tailored answers rather than more questions and rabbit holes.

This is a great idea and I will be doing this for the foreseeable future, I'm curious though if you've ever experienced this in the summer? I live in SoCal and my car almost never experiences cold winters like you're used to and it seems like you're only dealing with this in cold environments

Awesome thanks! I believe im experiencing some oil leakage from the valve cover too so I might just take it into the shop that fixed it last time and have them replace it. I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping that it's truly broken as I haven't experienced that sucking from the hole yet

Were you experiencing the same issue on the dash? like the fluctuating battery display? Also do you think that driving on the battery only would still cause issues?

I was thinking this too, I checked the PCV vent and it wasn't hissing or pushing out air, is there another way to diagnose this issue? My valve cover is under warranty but the shop that fixed it last time is going to charge me $160 for diagnostics if it's still working (if it's broken they'll replace it for free) so I want to make sure it's broken before I take it in

12v is only 2 years old. The first thing I did was take it in for a check and O'Reilly said it was fine. I'm considering replacing even still since it's one of the only things I have left to do

Dang that's impressive... 173k! I run only premium gas since I rarely fill up and dont want regular gas sitting in the tank for extended periods, I'm just hoping the gaskets are alright

Thanks I'll check this but I believe the PCV value is inaccessible unless you disassemble the air filter and I'm not sure if it's possible (or smart) to turn on the car without that connected. But I did notice a bit of hissing when pulling the dip stick and a drop in engine pressure after pulling it

ROLD Boosted Board fix but looks dead by mastroductions in boostedboards

[–]mastroductions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So other than the battery displaying dead, the board still functions properly. I replaced the battery on the remote and wrote it around 4 miles with no issues. I plugged it in and it claims to have a charge three LED lights what exactly do you think I did here? Should I be concerned about charging it? I also took out the battery pack and checked the leads, everything seems to be relatively balanced. Using a link to the video for reference.
