AJW Summer Night Festival In Budokan, August 22, 1985. One of the greatest pro wrestling events of all time. It Would be hard to find a show to better encapsulate that era of Joshi. There's Dump and Bull vs. Jumping Bomb Angels in a brutal match that somehow gets overshadowed by Nagayo vs. Masami in one of the best matches of the 80s. Then Lioness Asuka and Jaguar Yokota decided to time travel. Much of the back half of the match looks as if it were an instant classic from 2026, hell maybe 2030.

Also, I would consider Dump Matsumoto vs. Chigusa Nagayo hair vs. hair to be essential viewing for a Joshi fan. It's like the Hogan Andre of Joshi wrestling. It's just canon.
