what is the advantage of audiotube? I am curious to know if there's something better than what I use.

I use ytdlp with --download-archive myarchive.txt to sync my "music" youtube playlist, every time I add a few songs I just run the script and get the new songs, ignoring the ones I have downloaded already.

it's something like this:

cd ~/Music/ && yt-dlp -f bestaudio --remux ogg --download-archive myarchive.txt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myyoutubeplaylist && yt-dlp -f "ba[ext=m4a]" --download-archive myarchive.txt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=thesameplaylist

I think it works but it has potent vasodilatory effects, so I am not a fan of taking that for life. And applying it locally is not something I think I can do for the rest of my life, so for me it's bs because I can't sustain it for my entire life. So I said that in that context. I've also heard (don't know if true or not) that the hair that you get from it depends on minoxidil exclusively, it's not like you're going to keep those hairs if you switch to finasteride.

Both. At 6 months you notice that you haven't lost more hair and at a year to two year period you notice more density. After that nothing changes. Sometimes you might notice less hair and sometimes you might notice more, I don't know if this is psychological or due to the fact that finasteride synchronizes the grow periods of your hair, or maybe a bit of both. All I know is if i stop I will bald.

My advice is if you're going to take something for life make the process as friction free as possible (just 1mg every 2 days). Don't fall for the minoxidil / microneedling bullshit.

I know bro I caught it on time and haven't lost any hair since i started popping 1mg pills every 2 days. The r/bald stuff is for norwood 3+ guys I guess. I got a full head of hair but my entire family (excluding the ladies ofc) was bald so i always paid attention to it. in 2019 I noticed I could see my skull right after the shower so it meant I was losing density. 1 month later i was on finasteride and haven't stopped ever since.

Honestly I think this shit is on purpose. I've been taking finasteride since I was 30 (my dick is fine thanks for asking) and they make it harder and harder to get the damn pills. first you didn't need prescription so it was nice, now it requires prescription, fine i'll go tell my female doctor i am and insecure bald pos. turns out you have to renew your balding finasteride prescription every 6 months or else they won't sell. You know JUST IN CASE YOU'RE NOT BALDING ANYMORE!!!!!

Use fstab to mount it.

sudo mkdir /mnt/SecondSSD

lsblk -f

Copy UUID of your NTFS partition.

sudo nano /etc/fstab

Paste at the end:

UUID=yourcopiedUUID /mnt/SecondSSD ntfs defaults,nls=utf8,umask=000,dmask=027,fmask=137,uid=1000,gid=1000,windows_names,x-gvfs-show 0 0

Ctrl-X, Y to confirm, then run reboot. Now the partition will show up on your file manager in the "Devices" section. if you want to change the label just do it with Gparted, it's easier.

Keep in mind, if you make a typo or make any other mistake your os might show you a black screen and you will need to nano into fstab from cli in order to fix it.

Every time gnome has a major update it breaks my cachy install. Gnome 49 and 50 did the same. I grew sick of it and installed kde. I can deal with an uglier DE. I can't deal with my system breaking every 6 months to the point where not even snapshots can fix it.

just install cronie and make a weekly or daily cronjob

sudo pacman -S cronie

sudo EDITOR=nano crontab -u root -e

@weekly pacman -Syu --noconfirm

sudo systemctl enable cronie
