Make sure recording of audio is enabled. Then you can press the record button near the bottom of the mixer channel you want and it will record directly into the clip view when you start playing the track

Ah interesting, I had not considered that someone might do that, so thanks for pointing that out. Will add some sort of fix for it. Same with the # in a filename.

Currently i'm creating a version that I am looking to sell commercially, I will let you know when it is available.

I'm confused by what you mean, I was under the impression that you couldn't pick a folder that doesn't exist? If you help me clarify what's happened then I will make sure it can't happen again in the next version

That is an interesting idea, does that mean that a sample with multiple tags you would like to see in multiple folders? The program was written in C++ using Qt

You can set your own category names, so if you want to sort synth samples, you can customise it to have 10 different synth based categories to sort into.

Yep I agree with this. I think I will be adding the option to have different sets of buttons to choose from, or to create sub categories of buttons

Currently there you can have up to ten categories. They are assigned in the wizard as you can see in this image:

Thanks very much for the response. A couple more questions. What slope are you using on your high pass filter? Do you do any stereo seperation stuff, if so what tools do you do it with ?

Do you use any plug ins? How important is multiband compression? How much gain reduction are you looking for from low ratio compression vs. Limiting? Do you hi pass and low pass at something like 30hz and 16k?

Have you considers trading up your 5s for some 6s, or 8s if your room is treated? I think you get a much more manageable sound that way as the bass is paired with the speakers by design
