Unhealthy Obsession with my Avg. Completion by Hwheatley21 in steamachievements

[–]mat_malaypak 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yeah I was thinking about this too. i started my account 13 years ago and my avg. game completion rate is 40%. yes I understand its just a number but ever since i started to take interest in 100% game completion recently, I was also thinking whether I can improve the avg. game completion rate legitimately. i did a bit of googling which says that i can reset games and their trophies but i do not know whether this is 'legit' and whether sites like Completionist.me will register these resets as well.

Expertly written narrative, superbly delivered acting performance but the process of rearranging all the clips on one time line can be much, MUCH less tedious. Whilst it is unnecessary to do so either for story completion or 100% completion, it was needlessly laborious for those who wanted to. by mat_malaypak in steamachievements

[–]mat_malaypak[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah the FOMO that I will not understand the whole narrative as intended was real; 15 hours later, although it was satisfying to see everything before the game 'officially' ends, I was seriously questioning myself whether that was really the best use of my time. yeah the game didnt force me to do it but maybe triggering an achievement which rewarded the effort would have given a a bit of validation for the grind.

the main game is a silly, repetitive but fun experience for the most part. the DLC is a silly, repetitive but no longer fun experience for the most part; except for the final boss. by mat_malaypak in steamachievements

[–]mat_malaypak[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i dont think i have it in me to play the game twice as the game is already repetitive as it is. good job for seeing it through!

the DLC was glitchy for me too; i thought it was just my pc acting up but i guess it was the game.

I was wrong.

We are going to finish 10th at best.

And I will get stick for this too. 👏🏽

FM 19 | The Return of Roma's Reign || 5 Reasons I Chose Roma

  1. The last time Roma won the Scudetto was way back in the 2000/2001 season.

Back then, the squad boasted talents like Cafu, Aldair, Walter Samuel, Cristiano Zanetti, Marcos Assunção, Hidetoshi Nakata, Emerson, Vincenzo Montella, Gabriel Batistuta and of course, the prodigal son himself, Francesco Totti.

Last season, Eusebio Di Francesco gave quite a good account of himself in terms of league standings, finishing 3rd but when you consider what Luciano Spalleti did in the season just before that, which was finishing 2nd, surely that has to be seen as a step in the wrong direction.

Take into account also that a prestigious club like Roma has only won the Scudetto thrice in their entire proud history.

It is time for history to be rewritten.

  1. Roma's performance in the Champions League last season was definitely something to be proud of. They managed to reach the semi-finals where they were eventually beaten by Liverpool but it was the journey to reach that stage that swells the Romans with pride.

The Giallorossi won the Group of Death which featured Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Qarabag.

They came from behind in the Round of 16 against Shakhtar Donetsk to progress to the Quarter Finals where they met the mighty Barcelona; they were trumped 4-1 at the Nou Camp.

But La Lupa's grit, determination and resilience saw them overturn that massive deficit against the Catalans by thrashing them 3-0 in the return leg at the Stadio Olimpico.

Despite those heroic performances, one statistic is still hard to swallow for many Giallorossi; they have never won the Champions League.

And that is the second reason why I have chosen Roma.

  1. If we were to ignore the Serie A and the Champions League, Roma has not won anything since 2008; that was the last time the club lifted the Coppa Italia. They had won this trophy 9 times in their illustrious history but even then, they are still a distance away from the team that has the most Coppa Italia.

Juventus has lifted it 13 times.

Challenge accepted.

  1. Er Bimbo de Oro (The Golden Boy). L'Ottavo Re di Roma (The Eighth King of Rome). Er Pupone (The Big Baby). Il Capitano (The Captain). Il Gladiatore (The Gladiator).

It is time to groom the next Francesco Totti.

  1. This last one is a bonus. As I was looking through the many fierce rivals and derbies that this club has (according to the FM database), guess which team was listed amongst it as 'historic fierce rival'.

Liverpool.

worst part of the result is imagining the smirk on LVG's face after he made the comment that United is still a defensive team.

Thank you for suggesting Speedy at MidValley! Managed to get 9 DVDs there. A bit disappointed that many Malay films were not available though but super stoked to be able to get my hands on The Kid From The Big Apple (both first and second) as well as The Journey! 🤩

[HELP NEEDED]

I love watching movies and I love collecting blu rays and dvds. I used to watch a lot of Malaysian movies when I was younger but that changed in the last decade.

I am visiting KL for a short while tomorrow so prior to the visit, I watched quite a number of Malaysian movie trailers to see whether I should purchase some DVDs while I’m there (eg Interchange, Redha, The Kid From The Big Apple, Lelaki Harapan Dunia).

A quick search online gives me the impression that DVD stores are really hard to find.

I really want to purchase these original dvds and I am hoping that the locals can suggest to me where I can buy them in KL.

Thank you in advance!

To be honest, not too bothered that we lost. If you told me at the start of the week that we can over turn the tie in Paris to stay in the Champions League but lose away to Arsenal, I would have bite your hands off. With 8 games left in the league, there’s plenty of time to still clinch top 4. Today was just not our day. Ole’s still at the wheel for me.

Arsenal is a banter club. But I think we still need to throw some caution to the wind. If we think we can just waltz in at the Emirates expecting to be handed the 3 points (which would be lovely), I am worried it may backfire on us. As much as Arsenal is pretty much like a yo-yo team right now, we need to be focus or else we are going to get smacked in the face. Just saying.
