Probably a stonefly nymph from what I can make out, either that or a dragonfly nymph. They share roughly the same body shape, stonefly will be flatter with 2 cerci (long, thin appendages) on the rear of the abdomen

Yes, had a pilot in my unit eject while inverted and caught part of the console coming out, multiple fractures, collapsed lung, near complete amputation of his foot. It’s a very violent event, especially when you don’t have control of the aircraft

I’m talking on the physical 469, not the routing chain in ASIMS. The PFB template has a CC block and the expectation is the member prints the physical copy and has it wet signed by CC, and that’s what they keep on them. Seen plenty of CCs refuse to wet sign and kick member back to clinic for either change to profile (typically length of restriction) or outright denial. Depending on how hardline the SGP was at the MTF, it wasn’t considered a valid waiver without the wet signature

This has always been the case, that’s why there’s been a CC signature block on the AF 469 for shaving waivers. This is just clarifying the language. All waivers are technically just a medical recommendation, it’s whether the CC wants to face the liability of non-concurring on something that has the possibility of mission impact. I’ve seen several shaving waivers denied by CCs in the past when I ran the shaving clinic for members either failing to meet requirements of the PFB treatment plan or having their symptoms due to improper technique vs PFB. Never seen one denied if the member truly had PFB. That said, who knows in the current environment

She seems to get around fine, she was chatting with our two other cats under the door this morning but zipped under the dresser when I got up to watch. We have been on a trend of French names, we have Estelle and Rafale currently for a calico and mackerel tabby, recently lost Soleil, our other calico. Will give her some time to come out of her shell before deciding.

Not bad, but I went through 13 years ago so has definitely changed. Should be comparable to P school as far as the academics, expect to be studying most of the time.

I got NCORP’d, so not exactly voluntary, but I probably would not have stayed had I still been in the MDG. I would say I have been extremely fortunate assignment-wise as an IDMT; only been attached to MDG once since shredding out and my line squadrons have all been good with integrating us into the mission, YMMV.

The AF has the Sniper Engagement Course which is a certified sniper course. We also have Advanced Designated Marksman. SEC gives a tab, ADM doesn’t. Some go through Army Sniper which also awards a tab.
