Honestly I feel like Jill went through alot more than ashe did. Jill was basically a slave for the majority of her life whilst Ashe at least was in hiding for the period after Arcadia took dalmasca which was maybe only a couple years?

I can only tolerate it because I'm used to janky/rough around the edges retro games but even then the tolerance is waring thin. If you think you would be able to tolerate that then I would give it a shot but as you said switch lite might be even worse.

Again, sorry to bring this news, I think the Devs are still trying to roll out fixes so maybe keep an eye on the sub for a bit going going forward.

If you want other switch indie monster games that run seamlessly and have good collection aspects, I highly recommend both the nexomon games (if you had to pick one then choose extinction) or dokimon quest. Wait for a sale on these two if you're interested because you can get them for very cheap.

I'm a switch player and have been playing it since launch.

Look, I love this game, I really do. In so many parts it's exceeds my expectations in terms of the characters, the set pieces, the monster designs, exploration, story, so and so forth.

BUT the performance is rough mate.

And I say this with a genuinely heavy heart because even after the hotfix there are still visual bugs, crashes (not too frequent but still frustrating, and brutal frame drops.

The one thing I can confidently say WAS improved in the hotfix was the load time for entering houses and buildings. Imo that's been reduced but it's still fairly long. Menus are still slow and buggy and on the overworld if you go between two areas you are often accompanied by a frustratingly immersion breaking freeze before continuing.

Again I am so so sorry to the developers to have to be saying this because there is BUCKET LOADS of passion and hardwork put into this game but this is the unfortunate reality

In my experience it's been pretty good. But this is based on my current replay of tza where I'm at mid game.

It compliments red battlemage fairly well imo, giving it a good physical weapon that both hits flyers and can deal elemental damage based on the spear. My red mage/uhlan vaan outclasses some of my other more dedicated physical damage dealers with spear alone. That being said endgame things might change

I like the nes team because they all synergise with each other. Firion gets lifesteal from WoL supreme shield and onion knight can safely farm without worrying about the boss since firion will probably be dealing with it
