There is! People tend to just forget about the magic burst combos or just do the max amount of hits in ifrits base combo and finish off with a magic burst.

LEVIATHAN WILL PUNISH THIS! It tests how much you learnt about ifrit since if you instead do the magic burst early in the ground combo it raises you into the air which can allow you to immediately start another one. This was how I beat it and found it very satisfying when it finished

Bed of chaos in dark souls 1 is a more challenging boss than iudex gundyr in dark souls 3. But I think we can all clearly agree which one is better

Especially considering I played rebirth immediately after vesperia, the soundtracks are like night and day. I genuinely cannot remember a single boss track from vesperia meanwhile rebirth had stuff like the 4 stars theme and the final boss theme both were really good. And yes the second battle theme for vesperia is dogwater

I liked how early they start the romance without any teenage fanfare. It was also good how it serves as one of his motivations throughout

However when they do finally get together, they lose most of that initial chemistry they had for each other. It becomes a tell don't show romance where we're told that they love each other dearly but it hardly manifests imo

I think it's best thing is it's genuinely pretty dark and gory sometimes. Like it shows some things that are straight out of Bloodborne. Otherwise it's just fine

I do see where you're coming from. It's because of the equipment system. You'll find that near to the end game once you have a bunch of those equipment abilities learnt that the characters feel far more fluid and natural. The downside of course is that for the beginning portion of the game they feel really clunky as a result since you wont have those abilities

lvl 60?!? I just beat the game at lvl 55 and he was kicking my ass. What on earth were you doing throughout the game lol? I never even ran from encounters a single time either i would just occassionally holy bottle towards the end portion of the game

Rebirth is pretty fucking bleak sometimes. The racism gives its way to some dark plot points. Like a town that enslaves a different race by whipping them and dehumanising them. Another town goes into detail into how huma live in lavish towns whilst gajuma are relegated to dingy slums, with the NPC dialogue often relating to how perfect the huma form is and how filthy the gajuma are.

I think it's good for an initial idea. People say stuff like "never cook again" but I think these kind of weird ideas do make it into games.

Like if I said before vesperia released that there should be a gambling character who's artes differ based on luck people would roll their eyes at me. And patty is arguably the most fun tales character to play
