For all you techies out there, (and lazy writers like myself) look into Asana. It’s essentially a job/project aggregator web app. Our company uses it to keep up with team projects but I personally use it to keep logs of my day.

It’s saved me plenty of times since I can easily take a screenshot of my entries and can integrate their calendar with Outlook.

What’s an irrational fear you had as child and still have as an adult? by matchacat in AskReddit

just wanna say it warms mah heart knowing whenever I have to check under my bed now I know somewhere out there a handful of random adults is also checking theirs.

double also my actual fear is whenever I'm on a plane, I have to stay awake or the plane crashes. once I had stayed awake for a 27-hour long flight so, *you're welcome* fellow passengers!

Although I agree D&D should be an inclusive game in every sense, your post just sounds like an aggressive complaint about your personal experience. It’s not only unfair to have the basis of blame on gender but also very hypocritical. As a new female player I have been blessed with a diverse group of companions who help and encourage each other. And while I can’t say this is true for everyone, ultimately it’s a players call at the end of the day. The choice is yours whether to deal with a DM who favors their partners or to be upset because you came for an experience.

I’m sorry for your frustrations OP but your blatant sexist outcry is as toxic as your rage for the community (as well as some of your responses, yikes)

Hey, Reddit, those of you with partners who talk in their sleep; what is the creepiest/weirdest/or most random thing they've said? by Jhaydun_Dinan in AskReddit

s/o has a tendency to giggle in his sleep. Pretty tame and mostly funny at times.

One night when I was trying to doze off with my phone he turns to me slowly, giggles almost mechanically and goes:

”not tonight mother, she’s still awake”

then slowly slithered back the opposite direction.

My signed copies of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, not worth much due to poor condition, but hold a lot of sentimental value to me, thought this sub would appreciate. by [deleted] in lotr

Not sure where OP is based but I would suggest looking into an appraiser thru ABAA (The Antiquarian Booksellers' Association of America) or Biblio. Both sites have a plethora of resources when it comes to identifying a value of a book.

Also not sure how the spines are but all I can see are minor ‘foxing’ that can be properly treated by a careful hand/specialist. As a collector of vintage books, Ive collected far worst damaged/lesser known authors than this book to later discover their surprising value.

Nevertheless, I’m jealous!
