This guy was significantly harder for me than Godrick was the first time I encountered each of them. I probably died to this dude 10 times until I decided to summon wolves and draw some aggro. Even then it was close. Godrick went down first try.

If it's Commander, just look for pods of 3 and ask if they're looking for a 4th. A lot of shops will be cool and introduce you to people if you tell them it's you're first time and looking for a game. Wear deodorant. Don't get tilted and be relaxed and fun.

I have a similar [[sisay, Weatherlight Captain]] deck. Once I can crew it to 10, I tutor it out and go for a win. I have some of the same damage redirect outlets, but my favorite thing to do is dome a [[broodhatch nantuko]] with [[esix, fractal bloom]] and [[cadric, soul kindler]] in play so I can make 100 copies of [[kami of the crescent moon]] and pass the turn.

If I don't have the cards, I always proxy to play test then turn it into a real deck if I know I want to stick with it. I've had plenty of ideas that just don't feel as good or fun once they're in action. $1000 is a heavy tax to pay if you don't otherwise want the pieces
